Description
A superbly made and extensively hand-finished timepiece, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Silver Dial Men’s Watch 49140 has a unique character for a modern-day sports watch. It features a 40mm stainless steel case in brushed/polished finish with a bezel inspired by the Maltese cross. The fully integrated bracelet is also intricately finished with polished and satin-finished facets. The silver sunburst dial displays a double-digit date aperture, two proportioned subdials at 3 and 9, and a slightly smaller subdial at 6. The subdials and the main dial’s outer perimeter feature a concentric circular pattern for definition and tonal contrast. Faceted hour markers are also present along with polished faceted hands with luminous tips and blackened chrono hands. The watch is powered by Caliber 1137 automatic movement with 40 hours of power reserve. This model was manufactured between 1999 and 2003 and is a first-generation Overseas Chronograph.
