Description
The Ulysse Nardin Sonata is a lightweight dual-time travel watch with an alarm function but without the typical aggressive alarm sound. As its name implies, the Sonata delivers a beautiful chiming alarm – a church bell sound made by a hammer and gong system. Complementing the elegant alarm sound is an equally elegant dial. The face of the watch has a vertical linear pattern serving as the backdrop for bold and luminous skeletonized hands, a big double-window date display, and a second time zone sub-dial at 6. The triangular sub-dial at the top right corner of the dial is the alarm time indicator, while the one on the left is the alarm countdown. The alarm on/off at 9 o’clock position is operated via the button on the left crown. Powering this watch is caliber UN-67 offering approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
