Perfect for vintage Rolex collectors, here is a Sea-Dweller 1665 ‘Great White’ with a Mark III dial. The reference 1665 is the very first Rolex Sea-Dweller released to the public. It has a 40mm stainless steel case with a matte black dial with tritium hands and hour markers. In 1977, the Sea-Dweller received an update on its dial configuration wherein the red text “Submariner 2000” was removed, leaving only the text “Sea-Dweller” in white. This particular Sea-Dweller 1665 has a Mark III or MK3 dial with all texts in white and the Rolex crown logo has sharper or more pointed tips. Powering this watch is the robust and accurate caliber 1575 automatic movement with 44 to 48 hours of power reserve.
