True to its name, the F.P. Journe Elegante Titanium Watch comes with an elegant design. It features a 40 x 35mm titanium case in the brand’s trademarked flat torture shape and a white luminescent dial that delivers a Mother-of-Pearl-like shimmer. On the white dial are distinctive F.P. Journe blued steel hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. At 4 o’clock mark is a small window for the mechanical motion detector that enables the watch to switch to standby mode and save energy after being motionless for 35-minutes. This sort of “sleep mode” functionality only puts the mechanical elements on standby but the microprocessor continues to measure time. As soon as you wear the watch again, it sets itself automatically to the correct time. Powering this impressive watch is the Geneva-made caliber 1210 high-end quartz movement with 18 jewels. A white rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp completes the refined look of this watch.
