Description
The large model Santos de Cartier Skeleton ref. WHSA0026 stands apart as a contemporary, mechanically driven interpretation of a classic form. Its collectibility lies in its limited production, uncommon bezel finish, and clear departure from closed-dial Santos models. Its steel case is capped by a blue ADLC-coated bezel that darkens the frame and sharpens the watch’s presence. Inside, the hand-wound Caliber 9166 MC forms the dial itself. Roman numerals are cut into the bridges, leaving the gear train and balance fully visible. Time only yet mechanically expressive, the watch is worn on a steel bracelet fitted with Cartier’s QuickSwitch system for easy interchange.
