Description
The Cartier Roadster’s flattened tonneau case echoes the form and vibe of the curvy sports cars of the 50s and 60s. This watch, inspired by the automotive world, has a date magnifying lens that mirrors the air intake opening on the hood of a vintage car. The crown takes inspiration from the cooling fins, and the screws on each corner of the case resemble headlights. On the black dial are large Roman numeral hour markers, luminescent hour and minute hands, and a trio of oval counters. This sporty watch is fitted with a steel bracelet. Inside the case beats the reliable ETA 2894-A2 automatic chronograph movement with 42 hours of power reserve.
