Both a time-telling device and a work of art, the Tempusvivendi American Eagle is one of the creative and inspiring masterpieces of independent watchmaker Thomas Prescher. This variation from Thomas Prescher’s Tempusvivendi Collection features a blue enamel dial with an applied white gold figure of the American Eagle and the motto “E Pluribus Unum” on a white gold plate. The watch’s 18K yellow gold case measures 43mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness. It houses a 25-jewel automatic movement with a double retrograde indication of time, displaying the hours and minutes via two moving hands – in this case, wings. The gold-plated and hand-engraved movement can be viewed from the sapphire case back.
