The Rolex Daytona ref. 116500LN, made from 2016-2023, was the first stainless steel Daytona with a ceramic bezel.
It was an immediate smash hit, and became notoriously difficult to obtain from an authorized dealer. Although the white-dial version known as the “Panda” gets more hype, the black 116500 is preferred by many collectors who find its subtle appearance more everyday-wearable. The 116500 comes on an Oyster bracelet with Easylink clasp, and its reliable in-house caliber 4130 movement gives it 72 hours of power reserve. It is also water resistant up to 100 meters.
