The Chronomètre FB 1R.6-1 is a 20-piece limited edition masterpiece by Ferdinand Berthoud. It is designed with a 44mm octagonal case crafted from carburised stainless steel, boasting an incredible surface hardness and a thermochemical carbon coating for a matte finish. The rhodium-plated nickel silver dial presents a unique regulator layout where hours glide on a rotating sapphire disc at 2 o’clock, while a central sweep-seconds hand moves with precision. At 12 o’clock is the minutes display, and at 10 is the power reserve indicator. The in-house manual-winding FB-T.FC.R caliber powers the watch, offering a one-minute tourbillon, constant-force fusee-and-chain transmission, and a patented mobile cone power reserve indicator.
