The night sky sits directly on your wrist with De Bethune’s ref. DB25LWS3V2. This DB25 Moonphase Starry Sky in 18K white gold turns astronomy into something mechanical and deeply tactile. Artisans polish the central titanium dial by hand, heat-blue it to a rich purple tone, then individually hammer tiny white-gold pins into the surface to recreate scattered stars across the sky. At 12 o’clock, De Bethune’s spherical moonphase rotates slowly between polished palladium and blued steel hemispheres, accurate enough to require correction only once every 122 years.
The 44mm white-gold case uses De Bethune’s openworked cone-shaped lugs to soften the watch’s larger footprint on the wrist. A sapphire caseback reveals the manually wound Calibre DB2105 with a six-day power reserve and a linear reserve indicator built directly into the movement.
