The large and imposing Royal Oak Concept Supersonnerie is a remarkable concept watch demonstrating Audemars Piguet’s mastery of watchmaking and commitment to innovation. It features a strong and lightweight titanium case measuring 44mm wide and 16.5mm thick. Mounted on it is a flawlessly finished bezel secured by polished 18K white gold screws. The crown and chrono pushers are crafted in ceramic. On the skeletonized dial are white and bright yellow markers, plus a yellow running seconds hand for contrast. At 3 o’clock is the 30-minute counter, and at 6 is the tourbillon. The watch has two gongs that deliver a loud, clean, and clear sound. Powering the watch is the in-house caliber 2937 composed of 478 parts and beats at 3Hz, with 42 hours of power reserve.
