Description
Audemars Piguet released the Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon ref. 26560IO.OO.D002CA.01 in 2011. It features a 44mm by 16.05mm case in tough yet lightweight titanium. A black ceramic bezel and crown plus a black rubber strap enhance the watch’s sporty, masculine look. The face of the watch is an openworked dial with a second timezone indicator at 3, a tourbillon at 9, and a crown position indicator at 6. At the center of the dial is an hourglass-shaped black anodized aluminum bridge, complemented by a black anodized aluminum flange. Skeletonized white gold hands point to the hour and minute. Fully visible from the display case back is the manually wound caliber 2913 that powers this watch. This 291-part, 29-jewel movement has a twin barrel mechanism that offers a 10-day power reserve.
