M.A.D.Editions Teases Vincent Calabrese Collab for M.A.D.3
MB&F (Maximilan Büsser & Friends) is one of the most innovative and highly respected (and highly priced) independent watch brands in the world. MB&F’s avant-garde and unusual designs are often described as “mechanical art.” But although they’re a darling of the watch world, most enthusiasts can’t afford the $75,000-$300,000 price tag. So they started making a line of relatively affordable (under $4,000) M.A.D.Editions as a bit of a thank you to the watch nerdscape, and demand was so overwhelming for the M.A.D.1 and M.A.D.2 models that they had to implement a raffle system. And now, M.A.D.Editions has put a teaser for the M.A.D.3 on their Instagram which features images of AHCI co-founder Vincent Calabrese.
What Kind of Watch is the M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese?
Well, Vincent Calabrese is known in particular for his unusual jump hour watches. This leads us to the rather straightforward conclusion that the M.A.D.3 x Vincent Calabrese watch will be a jump hour of some sort. M.A.D. watches are all about displaying the time in unusual ways.

How Many Will Be Made?
“A few thousand” is a reasonable estimate for the production of the M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese collab. So far M.A.D.Editions has made about 15,000 watches between all the different colorways/editions of the M.A.D.1 and M.A.D.2. So if you miss out on this raffle, don’t worry; a raffle for another color will probably come eventually. But given how strong the demand is for these, don’t get your hopes up.
