Richard Schueler, better known as “Richard Heart,” raised over a billion dollars for his HEX token and related blockchain, PulseChain. While some people enthusiastically invested their money, other cryptocurrency geeks were suspicious from the beginning and cries of “scam” have echoed around HEX for years.
Heart has repeatedly flexed luxury goods on social media while playing up his philanthropic efforts and brushing aside claims of scams. The SEC recently brought criminal charges against Heart, accusing him of “fraud for misappropriating at least $12 million of offering proceeds to purchase luxury goods.” Why is this relevant on a watch blog?
Well, Mr. Heart has a collection of some of the rarest and most expensive factory gem-set Rolexes ever made. He would repeatedly mention that his factory bust-down meteorite Sky-Dweller 326959 TBR had the highest MSRP of any Rolex ever sold (supposedly $1.4 million).

Richard even posted on reddit using the username RichardHeart and proudly listed the supposed retail prices of some of his watches. This list includes roughly $9 million worth of watches, and the prices may not be fully reliable:

Many of the pieces in Richard Heart’s watch collection have dropped in market price since he wrote this list, but suffice it to say that their value is still well into the millions. Surely the SEC will be interested in taking a look at these. Until then, we note that Mr. Heart remains innocent until proven guilty.
