New Release: Hublot Novak Djokovic Big Bang Unico Watch
Hublot has unveiled the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic, a limited-edition watch celebrating the legendary tennis player’s record-breaking 2023 season, during which he secured his 24th Grand Slam title. Djokovic has been a Hublot brand ambassador since 2021. This new Hublot Novak Djokovic timepiece is as much a nod to the tennis star’s unparalleled achievements as it showcases Hublot’s dedication to cutting-edge materials. Keep reading for all the details on the 2024 Hublot Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic watch.

An Ace Design
Hublot has always focused on bringing interesting materials to watchmaking and this is no exception. This commemorative timepiece includes a 42mm case and bezel crafted from an innovative composite material of Epoxy resin reinforced with quartz powder and a glass veil fused with Djokovic’s 25 HEAD tennis rackets, 17 dark blue polos, and 15 light blue polos from his 2023 season. That’s right, the case is made from rackets and T-shirts! Speckled with light and dark blue fibers and black carbon, the result is a striking camo aesthetic.
The matte sky blue skeletonized dial, paired with luminescent white indexes and hands, complements the case while ensuring legibility. As is customary for Unico Big Bang chronographs, the dial is home to two subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, along with a date window embedded into the right subdial.
Lightweight yet robust, the watch features tempered Gorilla Glass instead of traditional sapphire crystal, shedding weight without sacrificing durability. With lightness as a priority, there are also a handful of aluminum components — the side pieces (3H-9H), sub-bezel, bezel lugs, pushers, crown, and caseback.
As expected, the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic includes subtle nods to tennis, such as bezel screws shaped to resemble tennis balls and bright yellow accents. What’s more, the Djokovic logo serves as the second hand counterweight.
A Lighter Unico Movement
Inside the unconventional case is a Unico self-winding chronograph movement operating at 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz) and supplying 72 hours of power reserve. However, Hublot tweaked the caliber to shave off more weight from the watch. As such, Hublot opted to use aluminum (in a light blue and gray color scheme) and reduced the movement weight by 27%. The oscillating weight is inscribed with Djokovic’s logo.
Hublot includes four strap options with the watch: a Lacoste tennis wristband, a lightweight blue elastic strap, a Velcro fastener, and a classic white rubber strap. Thanks to Hublot’s One Click System, switching between styles is effortless.
Total weight of the watch:
- On Elastic Strap: 49.5g
- On Velcro Strap: 54g
- On Tennis Wristband: 65g
- On Rubber strap: 75g
