The 2026 IWC watch releases so far have largely taken shape around Watches & Wonders 2026, with a broad mix of new Pilot’s Watch, Ingenieur, and Portofino models. This year’s lineup places a strong emphasis on technical development, from new materials like luminous and colored ceramics to the debut of the Perpetual Calendar ProSet system and space-inspired Venturer Vertical Drive alongside more familiar territory like Little Prince editions and expanded Ingenieur variants. Here are all the 2026 IWC watch releases so far, complete with pricing, specs, and release dates.

Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive

Release Date: April 2026

One of the more unexpected releases from IWC Schaffhausen this year is the Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive (ref. IW328601), a watch developed specifically for human spaceflight rather than adapted from an existing aviation model.

The biggest departure here is the complete removal of the crown. Instead, the watch uses a patent-pending rotating bezel system to control its functions. Turning the bezel engages a clutch mechanism that transmits motion to the movement, while a rocker switch on the side of the case lets the wearer switch between winding, setting the time, or adjusting a second time zone. It’s clearly designed with astronauts in mind since it’s something that can actually be operated while wearing gloves.

The display is equally purpose-driven. The matte black dial keeps things minimal and legible, with central hands showing the mission time, while a separate 24-hour hand tracks reference time on an outer scale. That setup reflects how time is actually used in orbit, where astronauts rely on UTC rather than local day/night cycles. There’s also a date at 3 o’clock, and lume differentiates the hands, with green for the main time and blue for the 24-hour indicator.

Inside is the new Caliber 32722, an automatic movement with a 120-hour power reserve and an integrated GMT function. It can be wound conventionally via the rotor or manually through the bezel system, which is a nice bit of redundancy given the intended use case.

The 44.3mm case is made from white ceramic, paired with a Ceratanium bezel and caseback, a combination chosen for durability and resistance to extreme temperature swings. The watch is fitted with a white FKM rubber strap, which holds up better under UV exposure and temperature changes than standard rubber.

Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive tested by Vast (Image: IWC)

This isn’t just conceptual either. The watch was tested by Vast, the company developing the Haven-1 space station, and has received certification for spaceflight. It’s a pretty clear signal that IWC is taking its tool watch identity beyond aviation and into something more specialized and space-driven. (Omega, watch out).

Priced at $28,200, the Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive is easily one of the more technically ambitious releases in the 2026 IWC releases lineup.

Little Prince 20th Anniversary Editions

Release Date: April 2026

To mark 20 years of its partnership with the estate of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, IWC is introducing a full lineup of “Le Petit Prince” Pilot’s Watches for 2026. The formula will be recognizable to anyone who’s followed these releases over the years: deep blue sunray dials, gold-toned hands, and a caseback featuring the Little Prince.

What’s different this time is the breadth of the release. Rather than a single hero piece, IWC is rolling out five models across the core Pilot’s Watch range for the anniversary, from the 36mm automatic up to 43mm chronographs, along with two versions of the Mark XX. All of them stick closely to the established design language, with a few material tweaks and movement updates depending on the model.

Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Le Petit Prince

Leading the lineup are two versions of the Mark XX, both sized at 40mm but executed quite differently. The more premium option (ref. IW328301) features an 18k 5N gold case, crown, and caseback ring, paired with a deep blue sunray dial and matching gold appliqués. The stainless steel version (ref. IW328221) keeps the same overall look but swaps in printed white indices and a more straightforward steel case.

Both watches are powered by the in-house Caliber 32112 automatic movement, offering a substantial 120-hour power reserve — something that’s become a defining feature of modern Mark series watches. Case construction remains true to the Pilot’s Watch formula, with a screw-down crown, pressure-resistant sapphire crystal, and 10 bar water resistance.

The gold version, priced at $22,500, is fitted with a blue rubber strap and a matching gold pin buckle, while the steel version, priced at $5,800, gets the same rubber strap setup with a steel buckle. Both use IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system for quick strap swaps. Around back, the gold model features a tinted sapphire crystal caseback with the Little Prince illustration, while the steel version opts for a solid engraved caseback.

IWC adds a new material twist to its Little Prince lineup with the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Le Petit Prince (ref. IW389410), marking the first time this edition appears in white ceramic.

The watch features a 41.9mm case made from white zirconium oxide ceramic, paired with a deep blue dial that fades slightly toward the edges. The contrast works well here — crisp white case against a saturated blue dial — while still keeping the familiar Pilot’s Watch layout intact, including the vertical chronograph subdial arrangement and day-date display. Rhodium-plated hands and markers are filled with lume for legibility, and the titanium caseback is engraved with the Little Prince motif.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume

Release Date: April 2026

2026 IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume (Image: IWC)

IWC introduces one of its more experimental pieces for 2026 with the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume, marking the first time the brand’s luminous ceramic technology makes its way into a full production model. Limited to 250 pieces, this is essentially a showcase for IWC’s materials division, paired with one of its most recognizable complications.

The headline here is the fully luminous construction. The 46.5mm case is made from Ceralume, a proprietary ceramic blended with Super-LumiNova pigments, allowing it to absorb light and emit a blue glow in the dark for extended periods. IWC applies the same treatment to the dial and even the white rubber strap, meaning the entire watch lights up after exposure to light. In daylight, it reads as a mix of matte and glossy white surfaces with grey hands; in the dark, it’s a completely different object. (Top tip: don’t wear this to the movies or you’ll just annoy the rest of the folks in the dark room).

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume

Case construction follows the Big Pilot’s blueprint, with a screw-down crown, convex sapphire crystal, and 100m water resistance. The sapphire caseback reveals the movement, including a luminous “Probus Scafusia” medallion integrated into the rotor, a small detail, but consistent with the rest of the watch.

Inside is the in-house Caliber 52616, featuring IWC’s Pellaton winding system and a 7-day (168-hour) power reserve. The perpetual calendar module, originally developed by Kurt Klaus, displays the date, day, month, four-digit year, and double moon phase for both hemispheres. The moon phase is accurate to one day over 577.5 years, which remains one of those quietly impressive specs that IWC tends to include without making a big deal about it.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume (Image: IWC)

The Ceralume material itself comes out of IWC’s XPL division, and like most ceramic developments, the challenge isn’t just the material but how it’s made. In this case, the brand had to develop a new process to evenly distribute luminous pigments within the ceramic matrix, ensuring a consistent glow across the entire case.

Perpetual Calendar ProSet

Release Date: April 2026

IWC introduces a major update to one of its core complications for 2026 with the Perpetual Calendar ProSet, reworking the brand’s long-standing calendar system into a fully synchronized, gear-based mechanism. The result is the Caliber 82665. While the display remains familiar, the underlying construction is entirely new.

Unlike traditional perpetual calendars — including IWC’s own crown-operated system developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s — the ProSet is designed to be adjusted both forward and backward using a single crown position. The system eliminates the need for corrector pushers or multi-step setting sequences, replacing them with a fully gear-driven architecture that advances in precise daily increments.

Perpetual Calendar ProSet, Caliber 82665 (Image: IWC)

The mechanism itself is built across multiple layers, using program wheels, flexible fingers, and a complex geometry that governs month lengths and leap years mechanically. IWC also uses the LIGA micro-engineering process to produce these intricate components with the necessary precision.

Accuracy is another step forward. The Double Moon display, showing lunar phases for both hemispheres, is now accurate to one day in 1,044 years. The in-house Caliber 82665 features a Pellaton winding system with ceramic components and supplies a 60-hour power reserve.

IWC launches the Perpetual Calendar ProSet in three versions, all Big Pilot’s Watches.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet Le Petit Prince (Ref. IW339601)

This version pairs the new calendar system with a white zirconium oxide ceramic case measuring 42.9mm in diameter and 14.3mm thick. The deep blue dial features a subtle gradient finish, with white printed numerals and indices, and rhodium-plated hands filled with Super-LumiNova.

The watch is fitted with a white rubber strap using IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system, and the caseback includes an engraved “Le Petit Prince” detail, along with a rotor featuring the Little Prince motif. This version is priced at $41,600.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet Le Petit Prince (Ref. IW329601)

The stainless steel version comes in slightly smaller at 42mm wide and 14mm thick, with the same deep blue dial but upgraded with applied rhodium-plated indices and numerals for added depth.

It’s delivered on a five-link stainless steel bracelet with EasX-CHANGE, along with an additional blue rubber strap. Like the ceramic model, it features the Little Prince engraving on the caseback and a gold-toned rotor medallion. This version is priced at $38,800.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet (Ref. IW329602)

Rounding out the trio is the 18k 5N gold version, also featuring a 42mm case. This model swaps the blue dial for a dark olive green one, paired with gold appliques and gold-plated hands filled with lume.

Ingenieur Automatic 35

Release Date: April 2026

IWC expands its Ingenieur Automatic 35 lineup for 2026 with two new variants; one is more decorative, while the other is more in line with the collection’s core aesthetic.

IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW324911
Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW324911 (Image: IWC)

At 35mm wide and just 9.4mm thick, the Ingenieur Automatic 35 continues to offer a more wearable take on the Gérald Genta-inspired sports watch design, retaining the key elements that define the modern Ingenieur. That includes the five-screw bezel, integrated bracelet construction, and the textured “Grid” dial with applied markers. Finishing remains a mix of satin-brushed and polished surfaces across both the case and bracelet, with polished center links adding some contrast.

The first of the two new models (ref. IW324911), priced at $18,700, introduces diamonds to the current Ingenieur lineup for the first time. It pairs a stainless steel case and bracelet with an 18k 5N gold bezel set with 45 diamonds, totaling approximately 0.7 carats. The silver-plated dial keeps things relatively restrained, while gold-plated hands and markers tie in with the bezel.

IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW324907
Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW324907 (Image: IWC)

The second model (ref. IW324907), which will retail for $11,200, is more straightforward, bringing IWC’s signature blue dial into the 35mm Ingenieur range. Combined with the steel case and bracelet, along with rhodium-plated hands and markers, it feels closer to the signature sporty look of the collection.

Both watches are powered by the automatic Caliber 47110, offering a 42-hour power reserve and visible through sapphire casebacks. The movement features circular graining, Geneva stripes, and a gold-plated oscillating weight.

Ingenieur Automatic 42

Release Date: April 2026

IWC continues to push its ceramic expertise with a new Ingenieur Automatic 42 in dark olive green (ref. IW338902), marking the first time the Gérald Genta-derived integrated bracelet design is executed in colored ceramic.

2026 IWC Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902
Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902 (Image: IWC)

The watch sticks closely to the proportions of the current Ingenieur, measuring 42mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, but the shift to ceramic changes both the look and feel. The case, bezel, caseback ring, crown guards, and integrated bracelet are all crafted from zirconium oxide ceramic in a uniform olive green tone — something that’s much harder to achieve than it sounds, given how ceramic components shrink and shift color during the sintering process.

IWC addresses this with a multi-part case construction, using an internal titanium ring to secure the movement and support the functional screws from both the front and back. It’s a technical workaround that allows the brand to maintain the exact geometry of the original steel Ingenieur design while executing it entirely in ceramic.

2026 IWC Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902
Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902 (Image: IWC)

There are a few contrasts to break up the monochrome look. The crown is crafted from 18k 5N gold, while the bezel screws are made from IWC’s harder Armor Gold alloy. The dial follows the same green tone with the familiar “Grid” pattern, paired with gold-plated hands and markers filled with Super-LumiNova.

Inside is the in-house Caliber 82110, featuring the Pellaton winding system with ceramic components for durability and a 60-hour power reserve. The olive green ceramic Ingenieur Automatic 42 is priced at $23,800.

Titanium Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41

Release Date: April 2026

Following the release of the Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 in steel last year, IWC is back with a new version in titanium. The new for 2026 Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 (ref. IW344904) features a 41.6mm case and integrated bracelet crafted entirely from grade 5 titanium, making it the lightest perpetual calendar currently in IWC’s lineup. At 13.2mm thick, it’s notably thicker than the time-only models yet remains relatively compact given the complexity of the complication. Plus, the use of titanium keeps it noticeably lighter on the wrist compared to steel or gold equivalents.

Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 IW344904

Visually, the watch embraces the monochromatic look. The matte gray dial matches the tone of the titanium case and bracelet, giving it a cohesive, almost single-block appearance. The signature “Grid” pattern adds texture, while the calendar subdials are finished with circular satin brushing and azurage detailing for a bit of contrast. Layout-wise, it follows IWC’s standard perpetual calendar format, with day at 9 o’clock, date at 3, and month and moon phase combined at 6, along with a leap year indicator.

Inside is the in-house Caliber 82600, featuring IWC’s Pellaton winding system with ceramic components for long-term durability and a 60-hour power reserve. The movement runs at 4 Hz and is visible through the sapphire caseback, finished with Geneva stripes, circular graining, and blued screws.

Priced at $44,000, the titanium version offers a lighter, more technical alternative (and more expensive) to the existing steel Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar.

Ingenieur Tourbillon 41

Release Date: April 2026

IWC takes the Ingenieur collection even more upmarket for 2026 with the introduction of a tourbillon to the collection.

The freshly minted Ingenieur Tourbillon 41 (ref. IW345901) features a 41.6mm case and integrated bracelet crafted entirely from 18k 5N gold. As expected, the proportions stay close to the rest of the modern Ingenieur lineup, but the execution is noticeably more elevated, from the material choice to the level of finishing. The case, bezel, and bracelet combine satin-brushed surfaces with polished edges, which works particularly well in gold, highlighting the sharper lines of the design.

The dial follows suit with an olive green “Grid” pattern, creating a strong contrast against the gold case. Gold appliques and hands keep the look cohesive, while the layout remains relatively restrained — aside from the obvious focal point at 6 o’clock.

That’s where the flying minute tourbillon sits, rotating once per minute within a lightweight cage made up of 56 components and weighing just 0.635 grams. It’s mounted from the dial side without an upper bridge, giving it that “floating” appearance, and includes a hacking function, allowing the tourbillon to be stopped for precise time setting. IWC also uses its Diamond Shell coating on the escape wheel and pallet lever to reduce friction and improve efficiency.

Powering the tourbillon (and the rest of the watch) is the in-house Caliber 82905, featuring the Pellaton winding system with ceramic components and an 80-hour power reserve. The movement runs at 4 Hz and is visible through the sapphire caseback, with gold-plated bridges, Geneva stripes, and a solid gold rotor with the Probus Scafusia medallion.

Limited to 100 pieces, the Ingenieur Tourbillon 41 is currently priced “upon request,” which can only mean that is exceedingly expensive.

Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 Le Petit Prince

Release Date: April 2026

Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 Le Petit Prince IW459806
Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 Le Petit Prince IW459806 (Image: IWC)

IWC brings its Little Prince theme to the Portofino collection for the first time in 2026 with a smaller, more decorative take on the concept. The new Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 Le Petit Prince (ref. IW459806) features a 34mm stainless steel case, keeping with the collection’s more classic, dress-oriented proportions. At 8.9mm thick, it’s also one of the slimmer releases in this year’s IWC Watches & Wonders lineup.

The deep blue dial follows the same formula used across other Little Prince models, here finished with a sunray effect and paired with gold-plated hands and diamonds adjacent to the hour markers. At 6 o’clock lies a rotating day and night display that completes one full turn every 24 hours. During the transition, either the sun or moon appears in the upper half of the aperture, indicating whether it’s day or night.

The moon disc features a small depiction of the Little Prince standing on its surface, a subtle but clearly thematic detail that ties the watch back to the broader collection. The same motif appears again on the engraved caseback. Powering the watch is the automatic Caliber 35180, running at 4 Hz with a 50-hour power reserve. The watch is paired with a blue calfskin strap from Santoni, equipped with a quick-change system and butterfly folding clasp.

Priced at $7,200, this is a more accessible entry point into IWC’s Little Prince lineup, just in a slightly more compact and dressier style than the Pilot’s Watch versions.

Alongside the themed release, IWC also adds a more traditional, jewelry-focused version of the Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 for 2026.

The Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 (ref. IW659803) sticks with the same 34mm stainless steel case and overall proportions, but includes a bezel set with 54 diamonds. There are also an additional 12 diamonds used as hour markers on the silver-plated dial, bringing the total to 66 stones (approximately 0.99 carats).

Like the Little Prince version, the watch features a day and night display at 6 o’clock, with a rotating disc that completes one full turn every 24 hours. A sun and moon indicator appears in the upper half of the aperture to show whether it’s day or night.

Inside is the same automatic Caliber 35180, running at 4 Hz with a 50-hour power reserve. The watch is paired with a taupe calfskin strap fitted with a butterfly folding clasp and quick-change system. Price wasn’t disclosed at press time, but once we find out, we’ll update accordingly.

The 2026 IWC watch releases lineup welcomes a new all-black execution of one of the brand’s most recognizable models. The Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium presents the classic 1998-era design, complete with the two fully vertically aligned subdials at 12 and 6 o’clock and the inner flange printed with a quarter-second scale, in a monochromatic configuration, crafted entirely in IWC’s proprietary Ceratanium.

The 41mm case, crown, and pushers are made from Ceratanium, an IWC-developed material based on a titanium alloy that is fired in a kiln to achieve a ceramic-like hardness and scratch resistance while retaining titanium’s relative lightness. The result is a dark metallic finish that gives the chronograph a uniform, matte appearance. Complementing the case is a black dial with black appliques and hands, along with a black rubber strap fitted with a Ceratanium pin buckle.

 Caliber 69355

The watch runs on the IWC-manufactured Caliber 69355, a column-wheel chronograph movement operating at 4 Hz with a 46-hour power reserve. The movement features a double-pawl winding system and is visible through the sapphire caseback. Limited to 1,500 pieces, the new-for-2026 IWC Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium is priced at $14,600.

The first two IWC watch releases of 2026 were made in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ driver George Russell. Both of these George Russell IWC watches are limited-edition Pilot’s Watches executed in black zirconium oxide ceramic and accented with Russell’s signature blue, a color long associated with his helmet and racing identity.

The first is the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell (Ref. IW389411), featuring a 41.9mm black ceramic case with Ceratanium crown and pushers. The black dial is printed in Russell’s distinct blue shade, matched by blue Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers.

Inside is the IWC-manufactured Caliber 69380, an automatic chronograph movement beating at 4 Hz with a 46-hour power reserve. The watch includes a day-date display, soft-iron inner case for magnetic protection, and water resistance to 100 meters. It is limited to 1,063 pieces (a nod to Russell’s racing number, 63) and priced at $12,900.

The second model, the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell (Ref. IW328107), presents a cleaner three-hand layout in a 41mm black ceramic case with a Ceratanium crown. Like the chronograph, it features blue numerals and luminescence against a black dial.

It is powered by the in-house Caliber 32112, equipped with a double-pawl winding system that delivers a 120-hour power reserve. Water resistance remains 100 meters, and the watch retains the soft-iron inner case construction typical of IWC’s Pilot’s line. Also limited to 1,063 pieces, the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell is priced at US$ 8,900.
