All the 2026 Panerai Releases
So far in 2026, Panerai has released a couple of watches through its Experience series: one, a Navy SEALs-inspired trip to Florida alongside a limited-edition Submersible in an innovative new material for the brand; and the other, a duo of Radiomirs that come with a trip to Italy. The core of its releases so far, though, is a collection of manual-wind Luminor watches inspired by vintage Panerais. Alongside those watches is a model with a new 31-day (!!!) power reserve and a 44mm Luminor Destro. Let’s get into what’s new so far from Panerai.

A handful of manual-wind Luminor watches are joining the Panerai portfolio. The venture aims to link Panerai watchmaking from “past to future” through design codes inspired by older timepieces, such as the PAM00372 from the early 2010s and the vintage ref. 6152/1, the latter of which was one of the first Panerai watches to sport the now-iconic crescent-shaped crown guard. The foundation of that pivotal watch is still evident in current production models, with design elements such as integrated lugs and a cushion-shaped case. However, while watches like the 6152/1 were 47mm, a few of the timepieces included with this release are 44mm, marking the first time in the brand’s history that ref. 6152/1 case design has been available in that size.
The newer offerings use a manual-wind movement and have a cushion case inspired by the ready-for-anything Panerais of the 1950s and 1960s. Cases are covered by domed sapphire crystals to mimic vintage PERSPEX® crystals, and they, of course, all feature that famous crescent-shaped crown guard. The new 2026 releases will come in a range of materials, sizes, and configurations for today’s collector and will have modern Super-LumiNova in a vintage beige hue. Let’s break them down.
44mm Luminor Destro PAM01732 and Luminor PAM01731
Panerai released a pair of 44mm stainless steel Luminor watches, both inspired by models from the brand’s past portfolio, as we mentioned above. Both watches use the same hand-wound caliber P.6000 and have beige Super-LumiNova and a domed sapphire crystal modeled after vintage PERSPEX®. Where they differ is in the overall aesthetics. PAM01732, notably, is a Destro model, meaning the famous oversized crown guard is on the left side of the case rather than its usual spot next to the 3-hour marker. It displays the time on a matte, grainy, blue sandwich dial with beige Super-LumiNova and double-pencil hands. It’s a simple, two-hander layout. Clean and diver-ready with its left-hand set-up.

The Panerai Destro’s counterpart, ref. PAM01731 swaps the blue dial for a grainy tobacco brown dial and keeps the traditional right-hand crown guard. A small seconds counter sits at the 9-hour marker. Both watches come with a leather strap and an additional rubber strap to match their respective dials.

Luminor 8 Giorni PAM01733
The next model is a Luminor 8 Giorni in Brunito steel. Giorni translates to “days” in Italian, so the model’s name itself denotes the impressive 8-day power reserve supplied by the caliber P.5000, which we can see through the sapphire case back. The 8-Day Panerai power reserve dates to the 1950s, and the Angelus SF240 movement used by the brand for its diving watches. It allowed for over a full week of power reserve on just a single wind. That meant precise timekeeping for an entire week without a second thought. Plus, with minimal winding comes minimal wear and tear, which preserves the watch’s overall waterproofness. PAM01733 continues that robust power reserve alongside the modern collection.

“Brunito” is a proprietary metal finish that has a deliberately aged look, akin to the wear one would find on a military watch that has seen a lot of action in the field. The edges are softly rounded, and black fades to grey in places where a true vintage watch would take on the most wear and tear. Steel cases are PVD-coated in black and then hand-brushed to achieve the look. The anthracite dial, with its circular brushed finish and cool tones, is the perfect pairing for the case.

47mm Luminor PAM01735 & Luminor Forged Titanium PAM01629
Also joining the Luminor collection are two 47mm models, one in steel and the other in a new material for the brand – forged titanium. Like the 44mm models mentioned earlier, both feature a domed sapphire crystal to mimic the vintage PERSPEX® on 1960s Luminors. Both use hand-wound movements, in this case, the caliber P.3000 with a 3-day power reserve and “quick change of time function,” which allows the wearer to adjust the hour hand forwards and backward independently, hour-by-hour.

PAM01735 is made of steel and displays the time on an ivory dial via sandwich-style beige Super-LumiNova hour markers and dual-pencil hands. The grainy finish mirrors vintage Panerais, and the warm ivory hue slowly darkens around the edges to a brown color, just like a genuine vintage tropical dial. A small seconds sub-dial sits at the 9-hour marker.

PAM01629 is a limited-edition model in titanium, a material the brand has worked with since the 1980s. However, forged titanium is a brand-new venture for Panerai. It features a wavy pattern achieved by forging two different grades of titanium, and benefits from being 40% lighter than steel. This model pairs the silvery titanium finish with a matching anthracite dial.

Luminor 31 Giorni PAM01631
PAM01631 rounds out the Luminors released at Watches and Wonders 2026. As its name suggests, it boasts a hefty 31-day power reserve. Wind it on the 1st of the month, and it will read true for the next 31 days. It’s a handy function by today’s standards, but one that would have been incredibly invaluable for the underwater commandoes the brand was making watches for decades ago. Also, the longer power reserve is a first for Panerai, and a milestone 7 years in the making by the prestigious Laboratorio di Idee.

The caliber P.2031/S is a hand-wound movement with four different barrels holding 3.3 meters of mainspring, hence the impressive, month-long power reserve. Panerai didn’t stop there, though. The movement also features an innovative “Torque Limiter,” which optimizes everything by shaving the watch’s true 36-day power reserve down to an optimal 31-day window. The watch automatically stops at the end of the 31 days to preserve the integrity of the movement, even if there’s power left in the remaining reserve.

We can see all the components through the skeleton dial and sapphire case back. A polarized date window sits at 3 o’clock, with a “31 Giorni” power reserve indicator just below it. The rest of the watch is cased in Panerai GoldtechTM to complement the sharp black skeleton movement and matching leather strap. This innovative watch will be a limited edition of 200.

Panerai Experience: Submersible Navy Seals Afniotech PAM01089
Earlier in the year, Panerai released its first Experience watches of 2026, a series that couples an exclusive, limited-edition watch (or watches) with a trip inspired by parts of the brand’s past. The duo released back in February included two editions of the Radiomir, which you can read more about later in this article. Now, true to its dive watch roots, the brand is releasing a robust Submersible in a brand-new material called Afniotech, which has a high content of hafnium, more than 95%. Hafnium is a very rare material that is more resistant than titanium, but also about 70% heavier than steel. It’s also incredibly difficult to machine.

Here, the new Panerai material features a sand-blasted finish to reduce underwater glare, making it perfect for the impressive 1,000-meter depth rating. It has a reinforced case back for improved water resistance, an engraved Navy SEALs emblem, and a thicker sapphire crystal. The crown is protected by the signature Panerai crown guard, and a grippy uni-directional diver’s bezel surrounds the case. Lastly, the dial is decorated with Super-LumiNova: blue for the minute hands and dot-shaped hour markers, and green for the rest. Powering it all is the caliber P.9010/GMT with a second time zone, a 3-day power reserve, stop seconds, and a “quick change of time function” for the hour hand.

The Experience: The new Afniotech Submersible will be limited to just 35 watches. The Navy SEALs-inspired “Special Operations Experience” takes place in Florida in March 2027. Participants can test their watches out in true Navy SEALs style through various challenges developed to test endurance and team-building skills.

That covers the 2026 Panerai releases from Watches and Wonders, and if you’re in Geneva and would like to see some Panerai novelties there will be a Panerai pop-up at the Salone del Mobile Milano. More on that below.

2026 Panerai Pop-Up at the Salone del Mobile Milano
2026 marks Panerai’s 4th consecutive year as the official timekeeper of the Salone del Mobile Milano, the world’s largest furniture and design trade show. To celebrate, the brand is hosting an intimate 100-square-foot pop-up inside the Milan Rho Fiera exhibition complex, featuring a special selection of Luminor, Luminor Due, Submersible, and Radiomir watches.

Panerai will release a new watch during Watches and Wonders 2026, the week prior, which will also be part of the pop-up and will be exclusively available to the Italian market during the show.
It’s going to be an immersive brand experience, complete with “evocative” imagery, a timeline of Panerai’s hallmark moments, and a relaxing Italian-style bar where visitors can kick up their feet and shop the brand’s latest offerings.
No word yet on which watches will be showcased during the pop-up, but we’ll be sure to include more information here when it becomes available.
Two New Panerai Experience Watches: Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo PAM01729 and PAM01730
Each year since 2019, Panerai releases a new limited-edition Experience watch, which also includes an exclusive trip to a location tied to the brand’s past. For the first time since the program’s launch, the package will include two watches, instead of just one: the ref. PAM01729 Radiomir California Bronzo and PAM01730 Radiomir Platinumtech™.

The pair is limited to just 30 sets and will include an exclusive 4-day trip to Itay later in September. It will be interesting to see whether the brand releases multiple Experience watches throughout the year, as it has done in the past, or if this unique pair will be it for 2026.
The trip will start at Panerai’s flagship Piazza San Giovanni boutique in Florence to celebrate its centenary, then head to the Serchio River and historic frogmen diving sites. The next stop will be the COMSUBIN base in Porto Venere, where members of the exclusive Experience can dive. Things will wrap up in Liguria with a yacht tour along the coastline.
Radiomir California Bronzo
Panerai really gave us some variety for the 2026 Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience watches. First, a 47mm Bronzo model, furnished entirely in, you guessed it, bronze. It features older-style wire lugs, a cone-shaped crown, and a unique California dial with vintage beige lume. For those unfamiliar, California dials are a type of watch face with Roman numeral hour markers on the top half and Arabic numerals on the bottom. Steel hands in blue complete the look. PAM01729 will come on a dark brown rolled leather strap and will feature Panerai’s caliber P.3000.

Radiomir Platinumtech ™
While the Bronzo uses a more approachable material, its counterpart takes things in a different direction in the brand’s Platinumtech™, an exclusive Panerai platinum alloy.

It has a similar 47mm cushion-shaped case to the Bronzo, with wire lugs and a cone-shaped crown, but flip the watch over, and you’ll find the more elaborately decorated manual-wind caliber P.3001/10, with skeleton components and a handy power reserve indicator. Time is displayed on a black sandwich dial with a delicate circular brushed texture and beige lume.
