Hublot’s 2025 Releases Celebrate 20 Years of the Big Bang
2025 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Big Bang, a milestone the brand celebrated by releasing three new collections at Watches and Wonders. The first is a set of limited-edition watches that pay homage to the Big Bang’s most significant achievements. They combine design elements from the original Big Bang and the current production, Big Bang Unico. Another set, appropriately called “Materials and High Complications,” celebrates the brand’s greatest achievements in both categories with five one-of-a-kind watches. A set of five colorful sapphire watches called the “Master of Sapphire” set rounds out the Watches and Wonders 2025 offerings, some other Big Bangs were released earlier in the year as well. Read on to find out what else Hublot has been up to so far in 2025.

Big Bang Meca-10 Concrete Jungle
What better way is there for Hublot, the master of materials, to celebrate the relocation of its flagship boutique on Fifth Avenue than to fashion a watch in the same material as the building’s façade? Matte concrete. It wouldn’t be the first time Hublot has worked with the material, either. The newest offering from the brand is the third in the Concrete Jungle series, the first of which was a Classic Fusion released in 2016, featuring a black ceramic case and an epoxy and concrete bezel. That watch was followed in 2020 by another Classic Fusion with a concrete case and dial. The newest 2025 release is a Big Bang MECA-10 watch featuring an open dial that reveals the skeletonized caliber HUB1201 inside. The manual-wind movement has a substantial 10-day power reserve (hence the name MECA-10) and a unique power reserve indicator driven by an innovative rack system, which is visible near the top half of the dial.
The bezel is dotted with Hublot’s signature titanium H-shaped screws, and the accompanying titanium crown is coated in black rubber. Furthermore, the case, measuring 44mm in diameter and 15.3mm thick, is sold with two interchangeable straps: a grey NATO strap and a black-lined rubber strap. The new special edition Big Bang Meca-10 Concrete Jungle is packaged in a box decorated with the New York City skyline to convey the energy of the city. The ref. 424.XC.5510.NR.NYC25 will be sold exclusively at the new Fifth Avenue Hublot Boutique.

Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve
The Square Bang joined the rosters of the broader Big Bang collection back in 2022. Until recently, the curiously geometric watch was only powered by a chronograph movement. Now, for 2025, Hublot has released the first Square Bang with two centrally mounted hands and a tourbillon, no less, another first for the series. Hublot made an exclusive 3D carbon case to commemorate the new release, which was created by weaving horizontal and vertical lines of carbon composite.
In yet another first for the series, the movement is made entirely of square or rectangular bridges to mirror the shape of the case. The tourbillon is placed near the bottom of the movement, while the barrel is placed near the top. Furthermore, the winding mechanism is on the right side of the case, and the power reserve indicator is on the left, creating perfect symmetry between the movement’s main components.
The newest Square Bang is powered by the caliber MHUB6023, a manual-winding movement developed just for this watch with the aforementioned geometric bridges, a tourbillon with a silicon escapement for better temperature and magnetic resistance, and a 4-day power reserve. The rubber strap adds the finishing touch to this watch, featuring a square waffle pattern to match the case and movement.

MP-10 Tourbillon: Now in Ceramic or Sapphire
Hublot added two limited edition variations to the MP-10 for 2025, one in black ceramic and another in clear sapphire. The watches are in addition to the titanium model released in 2024, featuring the same dimensions (41.5mm x 54.1mm x 22.4mm) but in two new materials. The ceramic model has a black ceramic case, a sapphire crystal, and a black rubber strap, while the sapphire model is entirely see-through, including a matching see-through rubber strap. The watch is quite extraordinary, omitting traditional watchmaking elements like a dial with hands and an oscillating weight. Instead, it features four rotating displays, including the hours and minutes stacked on top of each other at the top of the case, followed by a power reserve indicator just below it in green, orange, and red to indicate the 48-hour count-down, and finally seconds displayed on a ring surrounding the tourbillion cage at the bottom of the case.
As with all Hublot MP watches, there’s certainly a lot to marvel at here, from the slanted tourbillon (35° angle) to the roller time display for the hours and minutes and the innovative winding system. The latter is comprised of two linear weights on either side of the caliber HUB9013 to wind the movement instead of a conventional rotor. The black ceramic model is limited to 50 pieces, while the sapphire model is limited to 30 pieces.

Big Bang Unico Summer 2025
Every year for the past eight years, Hublot has hosted a festive summer party, complete with a colorful new watch to commemorate the start of the season. This year is a classic 42mm Unico, drenched in relaxing, beach-inspired hues and featuring micro-blasted high-tech ceramic. Released in Mykonos, the watch was developed for those “who live where the sun meets the waves,” as Hublot so poetically put it. The orange case was inspired by the golden hour, that warm light that appears in the sky just before the sun sets, while the bezel is blue to match the sea. The white center of the case mimics the sandy beaches of Mykonos. Hublot’s One Click system enables the wearer to easily switch between the three straps that come with the watch: sky blue, dark blue, and orange, all featuring white-lined rubber. Furthermore, the watch is waterproof to 100 meters, making it more than suitable for a quick dip in the ocean or lounging by the pool.

Hublot released its first in-house movement, called the Unico, in 2010, a flyback column wheel chronograph developed and produced entirely by Hublot. The 2025 Hublot watch of the summer is powered by a variation of that original Unico movement, called the caliber HUB1280. The self-winding movement still features a flyback chronograph, a mechanism that immediately resets the stopwatch function without requiring a stop or restart of the chronograph. We can see the chronograph in action through the open dial.

Big Bang 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection
There was considerable buzz surrounding Watches and Wonders 2025 and the many anniversaries that may or may not be celebrated in one way or another by many of the industry’s most notable brands. The Rolex GMT Master is turning 70, Audemars Piguet is celebrating 150 years, and Omega is marking 30 years since James Bond first strapped a Seamaster to his wrist in 1995’s GoldenEye. Additionally, 2025 marks 20 years since Hublot released the industry-defying Big Bang. The brand honored the occasion in a few different ways, the first being a capsule of five different limited-edition 20th-Anniversary watches that call on design elements from both the original Big Bang and the current Big Bang Unico.
The cases are reminiscent of the original Big Bang, featuring a similar knurled bezel and pinched lugs. Furthermore, each case is paired with a rubber strap with a “treaded lozenge” texture similar to the inaugural model, with the One Click strap-change mechanism from the modern Unico. Moreover, the dials feature a carbon fiber motif identical to the original Big Bang but now with improved Super-LumiNova. Lastly, at the heart of each model is a contemporary Unico automatic chronograph movement with a commemorative 20th-anniversary gold rotor.
The five different models are a fusion of materials and colors throughout the collection’s history, from its beginnings to the present. The first stop is the collection’s inception in 2005. Two models that pay homage to the original Big Bang represent this era. There is a titanium ceramic model limited to 500 pieces and a King Gold ceramic model limited to 250 watches. Next is the 20th Anniversary All Black edition made from black polished and matte ceramic. The watch is a nod to a similar model released in 2006, one that defied all the luxury watchmaking norms with a stealthy and entirely black design set. 2011 brought about Hublot’s proprietary gold alloy called Magic Gold, a scratch-resistant 18k gold alloy that delivers the unmistakable luster of gold and the toughness of ceramic. That material is reimagined for the 20th Anniversary in just 100 pieces. Finally, Hublot pays tribute to the first colored ceramic it ever produced – red, which debuted in 2018. The Red Magic model showcases the vibrant and innovative hue in limited quantities of 100 pieces.

Big Bang 20th Anniversary “Materials and High Complications” Set
As its name suggests, the next 20th-anniversary set showcases some of the Big Bang collection’s most innovative materials and high-complication movements, from colorful materials like sapphire and ceramic to a cathedral minute repeater with a distinctive gong sound. The set includes five one-of-a-kind, $1 million watches, each equipped with a tourbillon escapement. In their own way, each watch in this impressive anniversary quintet pushes the boundaries of luxury watchmaking.
Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic 20th Anniversary Sapphire
Except for the titanium hardware and transparent rubber strap, the sapphire model is made entirely from polished clear sapphire crystal. We have a clear view of the movement, including the special 22k white gold skeletonized micro-rotor decorated with “20 YEARS” and the 60-second tourbillon.
Big Bang Tourbillon Chronograph 20th Anniversary Water Blue Sapphire
Hublot has been expanding its sapphire offerings for nearly a decade. The latest hue is a tropical light blue called “water blue” sapphire. The watch is coupled with a sophisticated monopusher chronograph.
Big Bang Chronograph Cathedral Minute Repeater 20th Anniversary Frosted Carbon
This watch is powered by the caliber HUB8110 monopusher chronograph with a cathedral minute repeater. It’s a complex caliber, matched by a dynamic black frosted carbon fiber case.
Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic 20th Anniversary Red Magic
Hublot has made great strides in ceramic watchmaking, with red being the first hue ever made in-house. It’s only fitting that the vibrant material adorns this 20th-anniversary model, which also features an intricate automatic tourbillon movement.
Big Bang Tourbillon Cathedral Minute Repeater 20th Anniversary Blue Carbon
Texalium is a carbon fiber material with a looser woven texture. As a result, it produces a louder and clearer chime for the minute repeater than other carbon fiber materials. This model is the first Big Bang to feature blue Texalium on the entire watch, including the integrated bracelet.

Our Complete Coverage of Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025:
Big Bang 20th Anniversary “Master of Sapphire” Set
Hublot started working with sapphire in 2016. Since then, the brand’s portfolio of sapphire-clad Big Bang watches has grown into a fascinating rainbow of perfectly executed sapphire shades, earning the brand the self-appointed title of “Master of Sapphire.” The next and final set of 20th-anniversary watches features a set of five Big Bang MECA-10 watches in five different colors: clear sapphire, water blue sapphire, deep blue sapphire, purple sapphire, and yellow neon SAXEM. Each model is paired with a matching transparent strap and colorful dial elements.
With this box set, the MECA-10 movement is housed within a sapphire watch for the first time in Hublot’s history. The unconventional movement is the perfect engine for these watches because it debuted the same year as the first sapphire Big Bang in 2016. It boasts a rather substantial 10-day power reserve and a unique “crémaillère” rack system that drives a circular gear for the power reserve indicator. Hublot only made five box sets, each retailing for $605,000.

The Big Bang Unico – Now in Water Blue Sapphire
2024 brought us the water blue sapphire Big Bang MP-11. Now, for 2025, the brand is extending that colorway, which it describes as the “purest blue,” to the Big Bang Unico. The case and bezel are furnished in the contemporary light blue hue, matched by light blue hour markers, light blue hands, and a blue translucent structured rubber strap. H-shaped titanium screws and matching side pushers complement the grey-tone movement. Overall, the transparent, crystal blue design mimics water, creating a watch that looks like it jumped right out of the ocean in some ultra-exclusive tropical locale.
The open dial exposes the grey Unico movement within the case, which is also Hublot’s first movement produced in-house. Perhaps one of the most interesting facts about this calibre is that the column wheel and double coupling system are visible on the dial side of the case instead of the case back. Furthermore, the movement has 354 components and boasts a 72-hour power reserve. A handy date display is tucked inside the register at 3 o’clock. The newest water blue sapphire Hublot is limited to just 50 watches.

Big Bang Unico & Big Bang One Click in Petrol Blue and Mint Green Ceramic
For 2025, Hublot is adding two new seasonal colors to its ceramic capabilities: a deep blue color with teal undertones called “petrol blue” and a bright pastel color called “mint green.” The hues debuted alongside two different models: the 42mm Big Bang Unico and the 33mm Big Bang One Click. Each color option will be available to both models and is paired with a matching rubber strap, which the wearer can change out using Hublot’s innovative quick strap-change system. Furthermore, each watch sports design elements on the dial to match the ceramic case.
The Big Bang Unico is distinguished by a striking open dial that reveals the in-house automatic chronograph movement. Alternatively, the Big Bang One Click is more feminine-coded, featuring a smaller 33mm case, a solid dial, and a stainless steel bezel sparkling with diamonds. Notably, the new spring-time colors mark the first time the Big Bang One Click 33mm has been made in ceramic.

Big Bang One Click Joyful
Also new to the Big Bang One Click this year are five colorful “Joyful” models inspired by hues used during the early days of the Big Bang series: red, orange, pink, blue, and green. This release is a first for the Big Bang One Click, as it has never featured colorful gemstones that match the rubber strap within the core collection. Each model features a glossy white dial, a 33mm stainless steel case, and the caliber HUB1120 self-winding mechanical movement. Furthermore, the lined rubber straps attach to the case via Hublot’s One Click quick strap-change system.
As you would expect from a brand as prestigious as Hublot, each colorful strap is thoughtfully matched with a precious gemstone in a similar hue. Stones include Red spinels/red rubber strap, orange sapphires/orange rubber strap, pink sapphires/pink rubber strap, blue topaz/blue rubber strap, and tsavorites/green rubber strap.

It looks to be a pretty decent year for Hublot at Watches and Wonders 2025. But they released some watches at LVMH Watch Week 2025 as well. Let’s go over those now.
The most exotic Hublot early-2025 release so far is a limited edition emerald green Big Bang Tourbillion made from a synthetic sapphire-like composite, with a price tag over $200,000. Hublot also released new editions of the Big Bang MECA-10 with a new movement, and added new limited edition colors to the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph. It’s only January, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Hublot has more new releases planned. Let’s see what’s new so far.
2025 Hublot Limited Edition Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM
Last year, Hublot added the Big Bang Unico green to its growing collection of watches furnished in SAXEM, or “Sapphire Aluminium oXide and rare Earth Mineral.” The material is similar to sapphire because it is also incredibly resilient and has a transparent finish. However, these aren’t typical sapphire case luxury watches–SAXEM has a different molecular makeup and is more vibrant than sapphire.
For 2025, we have yet another new addition dressed in the same dynamic emerald green as last year’s release but with a self-winding tourbillon movement. We would expect nothing less from one of the pioneers of translucent watches.
The new green SAXEM Big Bang Tourbillon is driven by the caliber MHUB6035 self-winding movement, featuring a micro-rotor at 12 o’clock, a 60-second tourbillon at 6 o’clock, and sapphire elements, such as the tourbillon barrett and barrel bridge to support the watch’s openwork design. At the same time, other aspects of the movement are finished in black for stark contrast with the bright green SAXEM case. The movement has a substantial 72-hour power reserve, thanks to the efficiency of the ceramic ball bearings. Lastly, the dial is smoked black sapphire and features black hands and hour markers with green Super-LumiNova.
Hublot only made 18 examples of the new 2025 Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Green SAXEM, which will retail for $231,000.

More on Tourbillon Watches:
2025 Hublot Big Bang MECA-10 42mm
Hublot released the MECA-10 in 2016 with a duo of 45mm watches, one in titanium and the other a limited-edition model in black ceramic. At the heart of those watches was an innovative caliber HUB1201 with an unusual “crémaillère” toothed rack system connecting to a digital power reserve indicator. For 2025, Hublot has released a new version of the MECA-10 with a smaller and more ergonomic 42mm case, three metal finishes, and the upgraded caliber HUB1205.
The Meccano-inspired caliber HUB1205 features three horizontal bridges attached to the main plate, each with satin-brushed and hand-polished finishes and in galvanized colors to match the three case materials. The newer movement has an anti-magnetic silicon escapement and hacking seconds.
Of course, the MECA-10’s signature 10-day power reserve indicator is also present and is controlled by the previously mentioned rack system, a gear that moves left and right as the mainspring winds and unwinds. Options include King Gold, titanium, and frosted carbon, the latter of which is a new option for the core Big Bang collection. Each new model is outfitted with Hublot’s “One Click” system to switch out the straps without tools.
The new MECA-10 models will join the regular production lineup and retail for $42,700 (king gold), $23,000 (titanium), and $27,400 (frosted carbon).

2025 Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph – New Colors
For 2025, Hublot is furnishing the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph with three ceramic colors that were previously only an option for the round Big Bang. With its emblematic tonneau case, the Spirit of Big Bang also made Hublot history when it was released in 2014 because it was the first Big Bang without a round-shaped case. These new releases continue to break the mold in three new-to-the-collection earthy tones: beige, dark green, and sky blue. Furthermore, they are limited to just 200 pieces each.
Despite the unique barrel-shaped case, the Spirit of Big Bang abides by many of the same design codes as the original, including a bezel dotted with the iconic Hublot H-shaped screws. The new watches are powered by the skeleton caliber HUB4700, a “Hublotised” variation of the celebrated Zenith El Primero chronograph with a low-friction silicon escape wheel. The case is sandwiched by a sapphire open work dial and a sapphire case back, giving us a nice view of the caliber HUB4700. Lastly, the dial is decorated with colorful sub-dials, hour markers, and hands to match the ceramic case and accompanying rubber strap.
The trio of colorful new ceramic Spirit of Big Bang Chronographs are limited to 200 watches each and retail for $27,400.
