Blancpain 2026 Releases
As the oldest watch brand operating today, Blancpain is primarily known for two things: highly complicated men’s dress watches, and the Fifty Fathoms (widely regarded as the world’s first proper dive watch). In the first half of 2026, Blancpain released only one watch in each of those two categories, but several new women’s watches. Here are all the 2026 Blancpain releases so far.

Fifty Fathoms Tech with Date
Announcement date: June 8, 2026 (World Ocean Day)
In 2023, the Fifty Fathoms Tech Gombessa appeared with an aggressive 47mm case made of grade 23mm titanium, orange dial accents, and an unusual 3-hour bezel configuration. Its pointy crown guard, massive helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, and integrated rubber strap are what I would consider its defining characteristics compared to the regular Fifty Fathoms. The 2025 Blancpain releases included two slightly smaller (45mm) versions of the Fifty Fathoms Tech with 4:30 date windows, but for 2026, Blancpain has gone back to the 47mm size and 3-hour bezel with the release of ref. 5019A 12B30 94A.

This 2026 iteration of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech is essentially the same as the original Gombessa version, but with a date, and different color accents. Here, the 3-hour hand and strap are both orange, while the hour markers are almost neon green. Black and white rubber straps are additional options.

The list price for this non-limited-edition Fifty Fathoms Tech is $27,200, which seems a bit high, even for something made of grade 23 titanium (which is similar to grade 5 but with fewer oxygen impurities). But interestingly, that’s $7,800 less than Blancpain was asking for the Tech Gombessa.

Ladybird Tribute
Announcement date: June 1, 2026 (100th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birth)
Blancpain’s 2026 Marilyn Monroe “Ladybird Tribute” capsule is a series of seven unique pieces, each with one letter of “MARILYN” on the caseback and its own Pantone-developed double‑wrap calf strap color.

These small rectangular white gold watches (approximately 35 x 16 mm and 6.5 mm thick) are directly inspired by an Art Deco platinum Blancpain cocktail watch the famous actress wore. Aside from the strap color (and which letter is on the caseback), they’re identical.
The dials are opaline, with applied yellow‑gold markers and a handset faithful to the vintage piece, and each case is set with 85 diamonds totaling 1.36 carats. Inside is the in‑house, hand‑wound rectangular caliber 510, visible through a sapphire back.

The seven available strap colors are what I would describe as coral, red, black, white, fuchsia, beige and pink. Thanks to a very slim movement (2.6mm thick) the watches have a case height of only 6.5mm.

Ladybird Colors Nude Moka
Announcement date: May 21, 2026

In 1930, Blancpain released the first automatic ladies’ wristwatch. So, while many of the top luxury watch brands tend to put manual-wind and quartz watches in their smallest ladies’ offerings, Blancpain has a long history of supplying automatic movements in their women’s watches.

The Ladybird Colors line was first launched in 2021, and for 2026, Blancpain unveiled the “Nude Moka” colorway, with a 34.9mm diamond-set case and mother-of-pearl dial, available in red or white gold. Diamond-set bezels and mother-of-pearl dials are standard.

A center dial section covered with snow-set diamonds is available on the red gold version only, for an upcharge of $10,000. Snow-set diamonds are unevenly sized, so they must be painstakingly selected and spaced so that smaller ones fill in the gaps as perfectly as possible. The diamond-center Nude Moka comes standard with a folding clasp and is limited to 15 pieces. The other versions are not limited, and on those versions, a folding clasp costs $2,200. Starting price is $43,300.
The “Nude Moka” name is due to color of the Roman numerals and strap (which could indeed be described as “nude mocha” I suppose). Their dials are nacre perlée, which Blancpain calls “the most precious form of mother-of-pearl in watchmaking.”

Ladybird Colors Diamond Bloom
Announcement date: May 19, 2026
An even more exotic iteration of the Blancpain Ladybird Colors debuted in 2026 as well: the Ladybird Colors Diamond Bloom, also sporting a 34.9mm case made of 18k red gold or white gold. But this time, the case itself is covered in snow-set diamonds, and diamond dials are standard.

Both versions of the Ladybird Colors Diamond Bloom carry a total of 919 diamonds (4.794 carats), with the Blancpain logo applied to the sapphire crystal to allow more room for the diamonds on the dial.

Inside, as with the Nude Moka version, the Ladybird Colors Diamond Bloom contains the automatic caliber 1163L, featuring a 100‑hour power reserve and an attractively skeletonized 22k gold rotor. As part of the Phases de Lune family, the Ladybird Colors watches prominently feature a moonphase display at 6 o’clock where the small seconds indicator also sits. With a price tag of $141,600, the Diamond Bloom will be made in very limited quantities.

Villeret Saint Valentin 2026
Announcement date: January 29, 2026
For 2026, Blancpain released their 26th annual love-themed Saint Valentin watch, this time limited to 14 pieces and executed in a tiny 21.5 mm white gold case. The Villeret Saint Valentin 2026 sports a curved nacre perlée dial pleasantly devoid of hour markers.

The heart‑cut diamond at 12 and the engraved heart on its platinum rotor complete the Valentine’s aesthetic. Inside is the modern version of the movement that has held the title of smallest round full-rotor automatic movement for over 70 years: Blancpain caliber 615.
It offers a sufficient 38 hours of power reserve and a simple two-hand display of the time. It also features a silicon hairspring, something that didn’t exist when the original 615 debuted.

Case height is 8.2mm. Spec-wise, the 2026 Blancpain Villeret Saint Valentin is essentially the same watch as the Ladybird Ultraplate. Retail price is $27,700. I’m not entirely sure why they chose to call this watch a Villeret instead of a Ladybird. Either way, while “women wearing large watches” was a trend for a while, the mid-2020s seem to show a rekindled industry-wide interest in small watches marketed unapologetically to ladies specifically.

Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel “Year of the Horse”
Announcement date: January 12, 2026
Blancpain’s first release of the year was one of many luxury watches celebrating the Year of the Horse in 2026. Blancpain first introduced the Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel in 2012, and this is the 15th annual version of it so far. Inside the now-familiar 45mm case, this time in platinum, the impressive 464-part caliber 3638 is still in use. It offers 7 days of power reserve thanks to three series-coupled barrels.

In addition to the hours, minutes, small seconds, classic pointer date, and moonphase indicators, the Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel has multiple complications tied to the Chinese calendar. It tracks lunar days and months, including when a year has an extra “leap month,” shown via an aperture at 9 o’clock. Plus the year’s zodiac sign/animal is displayed at 12 o’clock. The corrector buttons for the calendar functions are cleverly hidden under the lugs.

Unique to the 2026 “Year of the Horse” edition of the Blancpain Villeret Calendrier Chinois Traditionnel are its salmon‑rose Grand Feu enamel dial and its frosted 22k white gold rotor, which features a relief engraving of a galloping horse trampling a swallow, flanked by a ruby and the Chinese characters for “horse” and “fire.”
The cost of all these exotic complications comes in the form of both thickness–a hefty 16.4mm–and price ($107,200). Only 50 will be made.
