Patrick Mahomes Joins Hublot as NFL Season Kicks Off

The NFL season kicks off today, and so does a new chapter for Hublot. The Swiss luxury watchmaker has just announced Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as its newest brand ambassador, bringing one of football’s brightest stars into the fold.

A three-time Super Bowl champion, two-time league MVP, and the fastest quarterback in history to reach 300 career touchdown passes, he’s already carved out a legacy that places him among the game’s all-time greats. Known for his creativity under pressure and his ability to deliver in the biggest moments, Mahomes has redefined the quarterback position much in the same way Hublot has challenged traditional watchmaking codes.

The move also shines a light on Mahomes’ own watch tastes. His personal collection is already stacked with heavy-hitting Rolex models, from the Rainbow Daytona to a platinum and diamond Day-Date President, plus a GMT-Master II “Batman” and a diamond-paved Everose Yacht-Master, to name a few. His appreciation for luxury watches makes this step into an official brand role all the more fitting.

And while he’s best known for his Rolex lineup, his watch box will now make room for Hublot. In the announcement photos, Mahomes is seen wearing two different Big Bang models.

One Patrick Mahomes’ Hublot is the Big Bang 20th Anniversary King Gold Ceramic (ref. 431.OM.1338.RX), a 43mm chronograph in polished and satin-finished King Gold with a black ceramic bezel and a rubber strap. Powered by the in-house UNICO HUB1280 flyback chronograph caliber with a 72-hour power reserve, it’s limited to 250 pieces. The other is the Big Bang Unico Titanium Ceramic (ref. 421.NM.1170.RX), a 44mm model in titanium with a skeletonized dial, black ceramic bezel, and the same UNICO movement visible beneath the sapphire crystal. Both watches are water resistant to 100 meters and — in true Hublot fashion — paired with rubber straps.

The partnership aligns Mahomes with an impressive roster of Hublot ambassadors that already includes Usain Bolt, Novak Djokovic, and Kylian Mbappé. Hublot CEO Julien Tornare described the move with characteristic enthusiasm: “There are good players. Great players. And then, there’s Patrick Mahomes!
