Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin

Release Date: August 2025

Vacheron Constantin has introduced two new versions of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin for 2025, fitted with fresh dial colors. The watches are offered in pink gold with a matching golden-toned dial (Ref. 4300V/220R-H144) and white gold with a burgundy lacquer dial (Ref. 4300V/220G-H151).

Both models feature 41.5mm cases that measure only 8.1mm thick and are powered by the self-winding Caliber 1120 QP/1. This ultra-thin movement is just 4.05mm high yet manages to display the day, date, month, leap year, and moon phase, in addition to the time, with no adjustment required until the year 2100 — like all perpetual calendar watches. The sapphire caseback reveals the 22k gold rotor decorated with a compass rose, along with the high-level finishing expected from Vacheron Constantin.

The watches retain the signature Overseas design traits: a notched bezel inspired by the Maltese cross, an integrated bracelet with half-Maltese cross–shaped links, and the quick-change system that allows bracelets and straps to be swapped without tools. The two versions differ in both case material and dial color: the pink gold model opts for a chic tone-on-tone approach, punctuated by a subtle blue minutes track and matching gold moonphase disc, whereas the white gold edition pairs its cool-toned case with a striking burgundy lacquer dial and moonphase disc.

Both watches are delivered on integrated gold bracelets and accompanied by two additional rubber straps: dark blue and white rubber for the pink gold model, and burgundy and white rubber for the white gold version.

Given their precious metal construction, high-complication movements, and the level of quality Vacheron Constantin is known for, these new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin watches don’t come cheap — each is priced at $120,000.

Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface

Release Date: June 2025

Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface
Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

Vacheron Constantin’s tradition of ultra-complicated, one-of-a-kind masterpieces continues with the Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface. This single-piece edition showcases the brand’s watchmaking mastery with a trio of high complications: a minute repeater, a split-seconds chronograph, and a tourbillon regulator with a spherical hairspring — all powered by a manually wound movement comprising 696 parts.

The movement housed inside the 45mm pink gold case is the new Caliber 2757 S, a reworked version of the 2022 Caliber 2757, now featuring a spherical hairspring for improved isochronism. A sapphire dial exposes the skeletonized architecture of the movement, highlighting the level of hand-finishing involved. According to Vacheron Constantin, it took twice as long for the finishing of the movement components as it did to assemble and fit the caliber into the case.

BU26_Les Cabinotiers_Temporis_Duo_Grand _Complication

The 30-minute chronograph counter hand and the pair of chronograph seconds hands are made of olive green PVD-coated aluminum, matching the green alligator leather strap. The minute repeater is regulated by a silent centripetal governor and tuned for a clear, musical chime. At 6 o’clock, the Maltese cross–shaped tourbillon cage completes its rotation once per minute, with a small seconds hand mounted on its axis.

Release Date: May 2025

Overseas Grand Complication Openface (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

For the first time ever, Vacheron Constantin has equipped its sporty Overseas collection with a minute repeater — and then some. The new Overseas Grand Complication Openface also includes a tourbillon, a perpetual calendar, and a power reserve indicator, all housed inside a titanium case with an integrated bracelet and a sapphire crystal dial that puts the movement on full display. This is high-horology in full contemporary mode: lightweight, openworked, technically impressive, and still water-resistant to 30 meters despite the repeater’s complexity.

At the heart of the watch is the Caliber 2755 QP, a 602-component manual-winding movement with a minute repeater governed by a silent centripetal regulator and a perpetual calendar accurate until 2100. The tourbillon beats at 2.5 Hz and is prominently visible through the sapphire dial, while the bridges, hammers, and wheels are decorated with a mix of NAC and rhodium finishes to play with light and depth. Even the blue metallized rings surrounding each display window have been engraved with calendar indications to enhance legibility without interrupting the transparency of the dial.

The titanium case measures 44.5mm in diameter and 13.1mm thick, with a newly redesigned caseback to accommodate the complication and maintain Overseas proportions. It’s fitted with a matching titanium integrated bracelet with a comfort-adjustment system, plus two extra straps in blue rubber and blue alligator. Pricing hasn’t been officially announced (read: “upon request), but according to the brand, production will be limited

Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication – La Première

Release Date: April 2025

Vacheron Constantin isn’t new to astronomical grand complications, but with the Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication, the brand has shattered records and raised the bar sky-high — literally. This one-of-a-kind creation is officially the most complicated wristwatch the manufacture has ever made, packing an astonishing 41 complications into a 45mm white gold case that’s just 14.99mm thick. It took eight years, 13 patent applications, and 1,521 components to make this happen.

Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication Vacheron Constantin
Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

At the heart of the 2025 Vacheron Constantin release is the newly developed Caliber 3655, a mechanical marvel split into two sections: a base movement that manages the timekeeping, chronograph, and chiming functions, and a second module dedicated entirely to astronomical displays. What sets Solaria apart isn’t just the quantity of complications — it’s the quality and creativity behind them.

Among the 41 complications are five rare astronomical functions, four of which track the Sun’s behavior (its position, height, culmination, and declination) and a fifth that’s a world first: a system that calculates the amount of time until a selected star enters your field of view using a split-seconds chronograph linked to a celestial chart on the back of the watch.

Les Cabinotiers Solaria 9600-C000G-231C UGC (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

Civil, solar, and sidereal time are all represented via dedicated gear trains, with traditional hour and minute hands on the front, and sidereal time tracked on a transparent sapphire disc on the reverse. A fully loaded Gregorian perpetual calendar sits at 12 o’clock, complete with ISO week and day tracking, and an astronomical moonphase with tidal indicators at 9 o’clock.

Then there’s the chiming system — a Westminster minute repeater with four gongs and four hammers that took up seven of the 13 patent applications alone. Everything from the hammer shape to the gong placement was reconsidered for both efficiency and sound clarity. And rather than using a traditional clutch for world time and GMT correction, Vacheron devised a compact differential system to keep the movement slim.

Les Cabinotiers Solaria 9600-C000G-231C UGC
Les Cabinotiers Solaria 9600-C000G-231C UGC (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

Despite all the mechanics under the hood, Solaria is surprisingly legible. The front dial plays with contrasting textures and materials, while the rear sapphire caseback uses layered metallization and color-coded indicators to keep everything readable. The split-seconds chronograph hands, for instance, are finished in red and green so they don’t get lost among the star map they orbit.

Built as a single-piece edition to celebrate Vacheron Constantin’s 270th anniversary, Solaria is less a watch and more a wearable observatory.

Vacheron Constantin’s 270th Anniversary

Release Date: April 2025

To mark 270 years of continuous watchmaking, Vacheron Constantin turned to its most classically elegant (or quiet luxury) lines — Traditionnelle and Patrimony — for a series of eight limited editions that pay tribute to the Maison’s roots. Though the cases and complications stay true to their historic templates, each piece introduces subtle new touches designed to mark the occasion.

The biggest update to these special 2025 Vacheron Constantin releases is a geometric motif inspired by the Maltese cross, worked directly into the dials of all anniversary references. It’s a visual nod to Vacheron Constantin’s emblem since 1880, and it adds a modern sense of movement and texture to traditionally restrained designs. The casebacks are home to more anniversary flourishes, including a unique take on Côtes de Genève striping called “Côte Unique”, a long-lost decorative technique the brand only recently revived. Bridges appear to flow into one another, offering a fresh interpretation of traditional movement finishing. Every caliber is also engraved with the 270th-anniversary emblem.

Traditionnelle Openface 270th Anniversary Limited Editions

Release Date: April 2025

If you’re into seeing what makes a movement tick — literally — the watchmakers’s trio of new 2025 Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Openface watches offers a striking combination of technical prowess and open-dial design. Each of the three limited editions is crafted in platinum and produced in runs of 370 pieces to celebrate the brand’s 270th anniversary.

Traditionnelle Openface 270th Anniversary Limited Editions

Unlike full skeletonization, the Openface approach keeps the structure of the dial intact while revealing just enough of the underlying mechanics to satisfy movement fans. These watches also feature dials engraved with a geometric Maltese cross-inspired guilloché pattern, tying into the anniversary theme seen across Vacheron’s 2025 releases. Beneath those dials are platinum cases, hand-finished calibers with the revived côte unique decoration, and — as expected — each piece is individually numbered.

The new Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Openface is powered by a freshly developed movement, Caliber 2460 QPR31/270, which combines a perpetual calendar with a retrograde date hand. The leap year, day, and month indicators are printed on transparent sapphire disks floating above a deep blue background, while the moonphase at 6 o’clock is accurate for 122 years.

For those who prefer high complication with more dramatic visual flair, the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface features a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, a retrograde date display up top, and a movement just 6.35mm thick. The peripheral rotor keeps the back view of the Caliber 2162 R31/270 open and uninterrupted.

Lastly, the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface rounds out the trio with a more accessible triple-calendar display, showing day and month via sapphire disks and the date through a blued pointer around the periphery. A precision moonphase completes the dial, and everything is driven by the Caliber 2460 QCL/270 — an updated version of Vacheron’s first fully in-house automatic complete calendar movement.

2025 Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar

Release Date: April 2025

For its 270th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin unveiled the new Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, which is limited to just 127 pieces and introduces the all-new Caliber 2162 QP/270 — a self-winding movement that marries two of the most prestigious complications in watchmaking.

Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar
270th Anniversary Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

Housed in a 42mm platinum case, the watch maintains a refined profile thanks to the slimness of its movement, which is just 6.55mm thick. The peripheral rotor not only keeps the height down but also leaves a clear view of the movement through the sapphire caseback, where the côte unique bridge finishing and discreet 270th-anniversary engraving can be seen.

On the dial side, you get the full calendar display—day, date, month, and leap year indication—balanced by a tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The dial is solid gold and decorated with a hand-guilloché Maltese cross-inspired motif, a subtle flourish that ties the model to the rest of Vacheron’s anniversary releases while staying true to the classical Traditionnelle style.

Operating at 2.5 Hz, the slower beat rate provides more visual enjoyment of the tourbillon’s rotation, while the perpetual calendar mechanism — secured with a patented bi-directional setting system — will keep ticking accurately until 2100 without adjustment. The Caliber 2162 QP/270 contains 324 components and delivers 72 hours of power reserve. The Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar is finished with a dark blue alligator strap and a platinum folding clasp.

Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Île

Release Date: April 2025

Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Île
The trio of 2025 Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Île (Image: VC)

As part of its 270th-anniversary celebration, Vacheron Constantin introduced a trio of one-off watches under its Les Cabinotiers program, each paying tribute to the brand’s home city of Geneva — and more specifically, to the Tour de l’Île, the historic medieval clock tower that once housed Vacheron’s own workshops.

Caliber 2460 visible through the hunter-style caseback (Image: Vacheron Constantin)

All three watches share the same proportions: 40mm cases, officer-style hinged backs, and a simple two-hand time display, powered by the finely finished Caliber 2460 automatic movement. But the real magic is in the dials, each a unique canvas for the brand’s métiers d’art artisans.

Each of these three 2025 Vacheron Constantin watches is a unique piece.

Grand Feu Miniature Enameling

The first watch showcases a Grand Feu miniature enamel dial painted in soft pastel tones. Inspired by an early 19th-century lithograph by Jean DuBois, the artwork captures a view of the Tour de l’Île and the surrounding Place de Bel-Air. Enameling this level of detail takes about a month, including multiple layers of translucent enamel and nine firings at over 800°C to build up the color and depth without cracking or discoloration the surface.

Figurative Guilloché and Grand Feu Miniature Enameling

The second piece combines hand-guilloché with Grand Feu enamel. Here, the surrounding architecture is engraved in ultra-fine guilloché lines, while the tower itself is rendered in vivid enamel at the center. This figurative guilloché technique — developed in-house by Vacheron’s master guillocheur — required around 16 hours of engraving followed by 40 hours of enameling.

Engraving

The third model is entirely engraved from a solid 18K pink gold dial. Based on an 1822 engraving by Pierre Escuyer, the scene is rendered in bas-relief, a technique where the background is carved away to raise the main image. The engraving work alone took over 140 hours and includes ultra-fine details like individual pedestrians on the bridge and a rooster perched on a weather vane.

Vacheron 222 in Stainless Steel

Release Date: January 2025

Vacheron Constantin kicked off the start of the year — and its 270th-anniversary celebration — in style with the release of the highly anticipated Historiques 222 in stainless steel. This marks the first time the modern reissue has been offered in a non-precious metal, following the yellow gold version from 2022.

The new steel Vacheron Constantin 222 keeps the 37mm case and integrated bracelet that helped define the original in the 1970s, but introduces a sunburst black dial with white gold markers and hands, giving the watch a cooler, more modern edge. Inside is the same ultra-thin automatic Caliber 2455/2 with a display caseback and commemorative 270th-anniversary rotor.

Collectors have been asking for a steel 222 since the gold one dropped—and now it’s finally here.
