The Two-Tone Rolex 100-Year Anniversary Oyster Perpetual
In 1926, Rolex’s waterproof Oyster wristwatch case hit the market. It would become the cornerstone of the brand’s success from then on. Rolex often (but not always) celebrates big anniversaries of their various models, so it wasn’t a big surprise that they did a special release for the Oyster’s 100th anniversary in 2026: The Rolex 100 Years Oyster Perpetual, offered in 31, 36, or 41mm width, is a two-tone model with a fully steel bracelet. Here are all the details.

What’s New on the Rolex Oyster Perpetual “100 Years” Models?
Note that the three 100-Year Rolex Oyster Perpetual models do not represent a new generation. What’s different, in addition to the yellow gold bezel and crown (which has “100” written on it), is the dial: it’s a nice sunburst slate color with yellow gold hour surrounds, green markers in the chapter ring, green “Rolex” text, and “100 Years” written where “Swiss Made” would normally go.

The hands are also yellow gold, although I should mention that the silver Oyster Perpetual models already had yellow gold hands/markers, so that aspect isn’t entirely new. Aside from the dial color and the gold parts, they’re the same as the existing OP lineup. Let’s go over all those specs now:

Has Rolex Made a Two-Tone Oyster Perpetual Before?
Rolex made two-tone Rolex Oyster Perpetuals until about 2007, with models like ref. 14203. These 2026 Rolex releases are the first two-tone OP’s made since then.

Has Rolex Made a Two-Tone Watch with a Steel Bracelet Before?
Yes, Rolex actually used to offer fully stainless steel bracelets on some two-tone models 60+ years ago. You can find Rolex 5501 and 5701 models with original steel bracelets fairly easily, for example. But it’s definitely an unexpected look for a modern two-tone Rolex. I think it looks nice, and the choice to keep the price under $10,000 was wise.
