Guide to Omega Women’s Watches
Women’s watches have been part of Omega’s offering since the earliest days of the company. It’s no different today, with Omega women’s watches making up a large portion of the brand’s catalog. From the classic look of the Constellation to the sporty vibe of the Speedmaster 38, or the everyday practicality of the Aqua Terra, there’s plenty to love in Omega’s women’s watch lineup. And while some luxury brands lean heavily into aesthetics, Omega watches for women are just as much about performance and innovation as they are about good looks. In this guide, we’ll walk you through some of Omega’s standout collections for women. Let’s dig in.

Omega Constellation Women’s Watches
Although the Constellation was first introduced in the 1950s, it was the redesigned 1982 Constellation Manhattan that served as design inspiration for today’s iterations. The Manhattan brought the now-iconic “claws” (griffes in French) on the bezel and integrated bracelet to the forefront, and these design details remain central to contemporary Constellation references.
Today, the Omega women’s watch is available in an impressive assortment of sizes, materials, and dial designs. Stainless steel models offer a sleek and understated option, while gold and diamond versions lean into Omega’s luxurious side.
However, perhaps the most recognizable ladies’ Constellations are the two-tone variants that bring together gold and steel throughout the case and bracelet. Dial choices are also varied, including simpler neutral affairs, colorful patterned surfaces, classic mother-of-pearl, and gem-set executions — but always featuring the collection’s signature star emblem.
Some bezels of these Omega women’s watches include the characteristic Roman numerals while others are set with diamonds. Though the integrated bracelet is the most classic choice when it comes to a Constellation watch, Omega also offers it with leather straps. In Omega’s current catalog, 25mm and 28mm Constellation watches are quartz powered whereas the 29mm variants have automatic movements.
Speedmaster 38
The Omega Speedmaster 38 takes the fan-favorite Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch and refines it into a smaller, sleeker, and more practical package for those who prefer a more compact chronograph. Sporting, as its name suggests, a 38mm case, the Speedmaster 38 is available in various metals, often decked out with diamond-set bezels. However, if you prefer the customary tachymeter bezel, there are indeed some models that have them.
While the Speedmaster 38 has a similar tri-compax layout to the Moonwatch, the subdials are oval rather than circular. Except, however, for one reference hidden in the collection (ref. 324.30.38.50.01.001) with circular subdials. Paired with its steel case, steel bracelet, black tachymeter bezel, and black dial, it’s the Speedy 38 that looks most like a downsized classic Omega Speedy Moonwatch.
These aren’t manual-winding chronographs like the Moonwatch, however. Speedmaster 38 models run on automatic movements, making them a more practical option for an everyday women’s chronograph.

Aqua Terra
The Aqua Terra is the ultimate all-arounder in Omega’s women’s watch lineup, easily at home at sea or on land, worn casually or formally, enjoyed day or night. With its 150 meters of water resistance and clean design, we’ve often nominated the Aqua Terra as one of the best GADA watches, and that is, of course, applicable to women too.
Like most Omega collections, the women’s Aqua Terra range is diverse, offering different sizes (28mm, 34mm, and 38mm), materials (steel, gold, two-tone), bezels (plain or gem-set), and dial colors. Naturally, diamond hour markers are always an option too.
The 28mm Aqua Terra models are time-only and run on quartz movements. Conversely, the Aqua Terra 34mm models are automatic and most of them include a round date window at 6 o’clock. However, there are some lavish gem-set Aqua Terra 34 models (think diamonds, tsavorites, rubies, and sapphires) with time-only dials.
The 38mm Aqua Terra models, which are more unisex than strictly Omega women’s watches, offer even more diversity. In addition to the date versions and non-date gem-set versions, there are some with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. Regardless of the variation, all 38mm Aqua Terra watches are automatic.
A particularly interesting sub-collection within the women’s Aqua Terra line is the Shades collection, offering a vibrant rainbow of dial colors.
De Ville Tresor
First introduced in the mid-20th century, the Trésor name originally referred to the ultra-thin movements housed within slim cases. Omega has since reimagined the line for women, combining vintage-inspired charm with contemporary styling. Today’s De Ville Trésor watches have sleek profiles, delicate curves, and subtle diamond accents.
The svelte cases of these Omega women’s watch models, available in 26mm and 36mm, include diamond paving along the sides, adding a touch of sparkle without feeling overdone. The time-only dials include elongated Roman numerals and slender hands, available in classic shades, vibrant colors, or even stones like malachite and garnet.
Paired with leather straps or bracelets, these quartz Omega women’s watches are dressy little numbers with plenty of personality.
Ladymatic
Launched in 1955 as Omega’s first automatic watch for women, the Ladymatic was revived in 2010 with a fresh look and modern updates. The watch features a 34mm round case attached to a braclet or strap via single lugs on each side. Material options include steel, rose gold, or two-tone steel and rose gold while bezels are available with or without diamonds. The dials are punctuated with diamond hour markers and include a date window at 3 o’clock. As expected, the cases are furnished with sapphire crystal for a view of the automatic movements inside.
More on Omega:
Unlike other collections that have ladies’ versions of men’s watches, the Ladymatic was designed (as its name suggests) solely with women in mind.
The Varied Omega Women’s Watch Collection
Like Cartier and Rolex, a large portion of Omega’s watch collection is made up of women’s watches. From the sporty Speedmaster and everyday Aqua Terra to the dressy De Ville Tresor and glamorous Ladymatic, the Omega women’s watch lineup is a varied one. Throw in all the material, color, size, and movement options, and there truly is a watch to suit just about anyone. If you want a legitimate dive watch in a ladies’ size, you can even consider the discontinued Seamaster 2282.50.00.
Of course, there are plenty of men’s Omega watches that women can easily wear, but sometimes it’s nice to shop the selection made specifically for women.
