It’s a common saying in the watch world that “Rolex only makes watches.” While you can find sunglasses on Breitling’s website and keychains on Omega’s, Rolex has stayed laser-focused on wristwatches. So it’s interesting that a “Rolex Accessories” section appeared on their website.

Two Rolex pouches and a gator strap
Straps and pouches probably won’t be among the Rolex accessories sold online, but we’ll see.

What Was Shown on the Rolex Accessories Webpage?

Nothing yet. The “Rolex Accessories” link on the left-hand side of Rolex.com led to a 404 error, and the link has since been removed. Presumably, somebody in their web department got a stern talking-to for that mishap and the Accessories section will be properly launched soon.

What “Rolex Accessories” Will Be Sold?

Cuff links, probably. Rolex has started to offer matching cuff links along with some ultra-premium off-catalog pieces in recent years, and maybe now they’ll start offering the cuff links for sale separately. Perhaps some fine leather goods or eyewear will make an appearance in the “Rolex Accessories” section too, but really it’s anybody’s guess.

The "Icy Coke" ref 126758 RUSA comes with cuff links, one of the most likely Rolex accessories that we'll see
The Rolex “Icy Coke” ref. 126758 RUSA was offered with matching red/black cuff links. Luxury Bazaar sold this watch for $250,000 in 2024.

Hasn’t Rolex Swag Been Around Forever?

You may have seen things like Rolex-branded pens, spoons, scarves, plushies, bags, umbrellas, caps, pens, chocolates, golf balls, perfumes, and even binoculars before. These are all given as gifts from authorized Rolex dealers to their clients, never sold. And these accessories are made by third parties, not Rolex themselves. The authorized dealer has to pay Rolex for the swag, though, and it’s totally up to their discretion if/when they hand it out.

If Rolex is truly about to start making and selling non-watch accessories, that would be a significant change for the brand. I doubt they’ll want to devalue their name by selling cheap swag to the public, so I expect really high-end stuff. But that’s just a hunch. We’ll keep you posted!
