In February 2024, Patek Philippe dropped a whole slate of models from its catalog, in preparation for all the new watches it would introduce two months later. Like clockwork, the Geneva-based watchmaker has again taken the axe to about a dozen references just ahead of Watches & Wonders 2025. Let’s get a closer look at all the Patek Philippe watches discontinued in 2025 (so far.)

Discontinued Patek Philippe Aquanaut Watches

The entry-level Patek Philippe sports watch, the Aquanaut, has lost one variant so far this year.

Most Talked-About Discontinued Patek of 2025: 5167/1A-001

Year debuted: 2008
Movement caliber: Caliber 315 S C or 26-330 S C
Case diameter: 40.8 mm

Patek Philippe has discontinued the Aquanaut ref. 5167/1A-001, which is the bracelet version of the “Extra-Large” steel Aquanaut. The Ref. 5167 with the signature embossed rubber strap was introduced in 2007 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Aquanaut line and the steel bracelet version joined the catalog the following year.

When it initially came out, inside the 40.8mm steel case of the 5167/1A-001 was the Caliber 315 S C to power the trio of hands at the center and date window at 3 o’clock. That movement was eventually replaced with the new-gen Caliber 26-330 SC with a stop-seconds mechanism. Although the 5167/1A-001 isn’t as prevalent as its tropical strap counterpart (which is still in production at the time of publishing), it will still be one of the most missed among the 2025 Patek Philippe discontinuations.

Discontinued Patek Philippe Nautilus Watches

This next discontinuation leaves only two stainless steel men’s Nautilus models in the Patek Philippe lineup: 5726A and 5726/1A.

Longest-Running Patek Philippe Discontinued in 2025: 5712/1A

Year debuted: 2006
Movement caliber: Caliber 240 PS IRM C LU
Case diameter: 40 mm

2006 was a big year for the Nautilus collection as it marked the 30th anniversary of Patek’s iconic sports watch collection. As such, Patek introduced a line of new-generation Nautilus watches including the complicated ref. 5712/1A with an asymmetrical dial that displayed the time, small seconds, power reserve, and moon phases. This reference, which featured a stainless steel 40mm case, integrated steel bracelet, and blue horizontally striped dial, supplanted the preceding short-lived ref. 3712, which was only in production for a year.

Now it’s time to say goodbye to this model as Patek Philippe has now discontinued the Nautilus 5712/1A in 2025.

Ladies’ Nautilus 7118/1A-010 and 7118-1200A-010

Patek discontinued the Ladies Nautilus 7118/1A-010 in 2025

Year debuted: 2017
Movement caliber: Caliber 324 S C
Case diameter: 35.2 mm

The first automatic ladies’ Nautilus watch in stainless steel without diamonds was added to the Patek catalog in 2015, initially with a blue dial. Two years later, in 2017, the silvery opaline dial variant — the ref. 7118/1A-010 — joined the collection.

In 2025, Patek Philippe dropped both the silvery white versions of the ladies’ Nautilus 7118: the non-diamond ref. 7118/1A-010 and the more sparkly ref. 7118-1200A-010 with a diamond-set bezel.

Iced-Out Nautilus 5719/10G-010

Year debuted: 2016
Movement caliber: Caliber 324 S C (self-winding)
Case diameter:

Initially produced in 2016, the ultra-rare white gold Nautilus 5719/10G-010 set with an insane 1,343 diamonds is another watch discontinued by Patek Philippe in 2025. While it seemed almost every celeb has flaunted this on their wrist at some point — Drake, Travis Scott, Maluma, Mark Wahlberg, Post Malone, Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, and J Balvin — just to name a few, very few of these iced-out Nautilus watches were ever made. And now that it’s dropped from the current catalog, they’ll be even harder to find.

Interestingly, Patek never publically listed the 5719/10R (the rose gold version) on its website, so it’s unclear if that is still in production or not.

Year debuted: 2020
Movement caliber: CHR 29-535 PS
Case diameter: 41 mm

In 2015, Patek Philippe debuted the Split-Seconds Chronograph 5370P with a platinum 41mm case, a black enamel dial with two counters, and the then-new manual-winding Caliber CHR 29-535 PS. Five years later, the black dial version was replaced with a Grand Feu blue enamel dial, also known as the 5370P-011.

After five years of production, Patek Philippe has now discontinued the platinum and blue-dialed Split Seconds Chronograph 5370P-011. As of now, there are no 5370P models in Patek Philippe’s 2025 lineup.

Year debuted: 2018
Movement caliber: Caliber R CH 27 PS QI
Case diameter: 42 mm

The very definition of a grand complication, the ref. 5208R brings together the trio of must-haves: a minute repeater, chronograph, and perpetual calendar. The first iteration of the model came out in 2011 in platinum. In 2018, Patek discontinued that version and replaced it with the 5208R in rose gold. One of the rarest and most expensive modern Pateks in production, obtaining a ref. 5208R at retail required not only a long-standing relationship with the company (i.e. plenty of money already spent) but also an application that Mr. Stern himself likely looked at.

In 2025, Patek Philippe has now discontinued the Grand Complication ref. 5208R, leaving us to wonder what kind of mechanical marvel will take its place.

Year debuted: 2015
Movement caliber: CH 324 S C FUS (self-winding, dual time zone)
Case diameter: 42 mm

In 2015, Patek Philippe surprised the watch world by releasing a pilot’s watch, the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time 5524G, which looked like nothing else in the catalog at that time. Borrowing design cues from a pair of vintage Patek hour-angle watches (housed in the company’s museum) but built for modern globetrotters, the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time 5524G featured a 42mm white gold case with two pushers on the left and the winding crown on the right, a GMT hand, day-night displays, and a date indicator.

A decade after its release, and not before spawning other Patek Philippe pilot watches, the original Calatrava Pilot Travel Time 5524G has been taken out of production.

Ladies Annual Calendar 4947G-010

Year debuted: 2017
Movement caliber: Caliber 324 S QA LU (self-winding; Annual Calendar, moonphase)
Case diameter: 38 mm

In 2017, Patek introduced a new version of its ladies’ Annual Calendar ref. 4947, fashioned in white gold with a vertically and horizontally finished silvery dial that’s meant to mimic shantung silk. The gem-set watch with 141 diamonds set into the case and crown was paired with a vibrant blue hand-stitched alligator strap. That reference number was the 4947G-010 and now, after nine years of production, Patek has discontinued this particular variant but other 4947 references are still available including the full steel version.

Discontinued Patek Philippe Twenty-4

Launched in 1999, the Twenty~4 is Patek Philippe’s flagship women’s watch collection. It has only seen one discontinuation this year.

Year debuted: 2019
Movement caliber: Caliber 324 S
Case diameter: 36 mm

Twenty~4 models were all quartz rectangular watches until 2018, when Patek introduced the Twenty~4 Automatic watch featuring a round case, stencil-style numerals, a date window, a diamond-set bezel, and of course, as its name suggests a self-winding movement. The following year, Patek launched a high jewelry version — the rose gold Twenty~4 7300/1450R-001 with a staggering 3,238 diamonds set using the “snow-setting” technique. This head-turning gem-set watch is now part of the 2025 discontinued Patek Philippe watch club.

More Patek Philippe Discontinuation Watches To Come in 2025?

As of now, these are all the Patek Philippe watches discontinued in 2025. However, it’s still early in the year and we wouldn’t be surprised if more models will be cut from the Patek catalog over the next few months. As always, stay tuned to Grey Market Magazine for all the details.
