TH-Carbonspring Oscillator

Release Date: September 2025

At Geneva Watch Days 2025, TAG Heuer has unveiled the TH-Carbonspring oscillator, a breakthrough that marks the brand’s most important technical development in decades and signals a new chapter in mechanical watchmaking. Conceived, developed, and produced entirely in-house by the TAG Heuer LAB, the project took nearly ten years of research, testing, and refinement before being deemed ready for production.

TH-Carbonspring
TH-Carbonspring (Image: TAG Heuer)

The TH-Carbonspring builds on the 350-year legacy of the traditional hairspring, first invented in 1675, but reimagines it with a new carbon-based material. Unlike traditional alloys or even modern silicon hairsprings, the TAG Heuer TH-Carbonspring delivers three key advantages: resistance to magnetism, enhanced shock resistance, and reduced inertia thanks to its lightweight construction. These properties translate into improved chronometric performance and long-term stability for mechanical watches in daily wear.

Image: TAG Heuer

To debut its new TH-Carbonspring oscillator, TAG Heuer turned to its two most recognizable designs: the Monaco and the Carrera. Both watches are built in forged carbon, underscoring the brand’s ties to motorsport while providing lightness and strength. Each also features a carbon dial engraved with a spiral motif — a nod to the hairspring that the TH-Carbonspring reimagines for today. Only 50 pieces of each model will be made, delivered in special presentation boxes.

Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring

The square-cased Monaco returns in an all-carbon construction with a 39mm forged carbon case, carbon crown and pushers, and a black rubber strap embossed to mimic fabric. On the dial, white Super-LumiNova contrasts against black-gold hands and carbon indexes for maximum legibility.

Powering the watch is the Caliber TH20-60, a chronometer-certified automatic flyback chronograph with an 80-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring is priced at CHF 17,000, available from December 2025.

Carrera Astronomer

Release Date: September 2025

The Carrera collection, long rooted in racing, now ventures into new territory with the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer. This watch introduces a contemporary take on the moonphase complication, combining scientific accuracy with a distinct design language. Its release also pays tribute to TAG Heuer’s spacefaring past: in 1962, astronaut John Glenn wore a specially modified Heuer stopwatch aboard NASA’s Friendship 7 mission, linking the brand to space exploration more than six decades ago.

TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer
Carrera Astronomer Watches (Image: TAG Heuer)

Powering the Carrera Astronomer is the new moonphase version of Caliber 7, an automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve. The movement powers an unconventional moonphase complication displayed on a rotating disc at 6 o’clock. Instead of a single aperture, the disc depicts seven phases of the moon, advancing once per day at 1:00 AM to stay in sync with the lunar cycle. Flanked by two slim arrows, the display provides a clear, accurate reading of the moon’s position in its 29.5-day orbit.

Three variations form the debut collection. The core model is stainless steel with a silver dial, black flange, and black moonphase disc. It comes on a beads-of-rice style steel bracelet, a nod to vintage Carrera models from the 1960s. The first limited edition (500 pieces) pairs a silver dial with a dark grey flange and turquoise accents, enhanced by Super-LumiNova details for a futuristic effect. It is fitted with a gray leather strap. The second limited edition (500 pieces) takes on a warmer aesthetic with a two-tone construction: stainless steel combined with 18K 5N rose gold on the flange, hands, numerals, and bracelet links, complemented by a tone-on-tone moonphase disc.

Each version is housed in a 39mm case, fitted with casebacks engraved with an astronomical observatory motif and the Victory Wreath. Available from October 2025, prices for the 2025 TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer will range from CHF 4,350 to 6,900.

Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch

Release Date: May 2025

Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch
Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch (Image: TAG Heuer)

The 2025 TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch draws direct inspiration from vintage Heuer stopwatches used in the 1960s and 70s. The dial features a silver opaline background with a black circular track, accented by a red minute scale around the perimeter. The two black opaline subdials — a running seconds counter at 3 o’clock and a chronograph minutes counter at 9 o’clock — are outfitted with white hands for maximum contrast. Additional red details, including the lacquered central chronograph hand and the red-tipped index at 12 o’clock, reinforce the stopwatch motif.

The 39mm case is made from black DLC-coated grade 2 titanium, maintaining the Monaco’s iconic square profile and left-side crown layout. Inside is the Calibre 11 automatic chronograph movement, echoing the Monaco’s original 1969 configuration. Presented on a black perforated calfskin strap with a black DLC folding clasp, this Monaco will be priced at $9,850 at retail.

Monaco Chronograph x Gulf

Release Date: May 2025

Few watches are more closely tied to motorsport and cinema than the Monaco, and the latest Monaco Chronograph x Gulf release celebrates both legacies in full color. Fresh for 2025, this limited-edition model reconnects with the golden era of racing and the 1971 film Le Mans, where Steve McQueen famously wore a Monaco on screen while driving a Porsche 917K bearing Gulf livery.

Monaco Gulf
Monaco Gulf (Image: TAG Heuer)

The new Monaco Gulf was launched at the newly renamed Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco. It retains the signature square case (39mm) and automatic Caliber 11 chronograph while reinterpreting the iconic blue and orange Gulf color scheme.

Monaco Gulf
Monaco Gulf (Image: TAG Heuer)

The watch features a silvered grained dial, giving the face a crisp backdrop for the blue and orange racing stripes. The Gulf logo appears prominently at 6 o’clock, while the chronograph layout remains classic Monaco: two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock, and a date at 6. Presented on a white perforated calfskin strap with a folding clasp, TAG Heuer provides an additional blue strap in the box.

Limited to 971 pieces, the new-for-2025 TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf edition will retail for $9,550.

Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph

Release Date: May 2025

TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph
Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph (Image: Tag Heuer)

TAG Heuer continues to evolve its most avant-garde chronograph with the 2025 release of the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph, now in an entirely new case material called TH-Titanium. Developed in-house over four years, this aerospace-grade titanium undergoes a proprietary thermal process that brings out natural, shifting textures in the metal, giving each case a unique, almost organic pattern.

The watch retains its dramatic sapphire dial and caseback, showcasing the Calibre TH81-00 split-seconds movement inside. Crafted almost entirely from titanium and weighing just 30 grams, the movement supports a high-frequency 5Hz rattrapante chronograph with a 65-hour power reserve (or 55 hours when the chronograph is running). The lime green accents on the chronograph hands, pushers, and rattrapante lever are a nod to racing, while the layered black opaline subdials and luminous hands ensure strong legibility.

At 41mm wide and 15.2mm thick, the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph is fitted with a black calfskin strap with lime contrast stitching and a titanium folding clasp. The watch is limited, highly technical, and distinctly Monaco — and priced at a head-turning CHF 145,000 at retail.

TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date

Release Date: April 2025

For Watches & Wonders 2025, TAG Heuer brings the Carrera Day-Date back into the spotlight with a refreshed design and upgraded movement. While the cases retain the 41mm diameter, the bezel is slimmed down, resulting in a wider sapphire crystal for a more expansive view of the dial. The bracelets now also come with a new quick-change link system, permitting wearers to easily adjust the fit sans tools.

There are five variations in total: one model features a black-grained dial on a perforated black calfskin strap, three models come on stainless steel bracelets with the choice of black opalin, sunray brushed blue, or smoky red opalin dials, and a fifth version pairs a black opalin dial with a two-tone steel and rose gold bracelet. All feature the signature double-window day and date display at 3 o’clock, polished and faceted hour markers, and curved flanges.

Powering the new TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date is the Caliber TH31-02 manufacture movement, co-developed with AMT and produced exclusively for the company. It delivers an impressive 80-hour power reserve and features a shield-shaped rotor, visible through the caseback. Prices of the 2025 TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date range from CHF 3,900 to CHF 8,250 depending on the model.

TAG Heuer brought the sun to the track in 2025 with the release of nine all-new Formula 1 Solargraph models. A fresh take on the iconic racing-inspired collection, the new lineup features 38mm cases, bold colors, daisy-shaped bezels, and for the first time in the series — Solargraph movements. There are models in classic black, white, and blue, as well as vibrant red, yellow, and green colorways. The case materials vary too, with options in sandblasted steel, black DLC steel, and TAG’s new lightweight bio-polyamide TH-Polylight.

Formula 1 Chronograph

Release Date: April 2025

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph collection kicked off the brand’s 2025 lineup with five new models (four regular production chronographs and one special edition TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing) that showcase TAG Heuer’s enduring connection to motorsport. Known for its bold designs and racing pedigree, the Formula 1 Chronograph has long been a staple in TAG Heuer’s catalog. This year’s additions bring updated materials, fresh colors, a more ergonomic design — and importantly, automatic movements.

Housed in lightweight 44mm titanium cases and topped with aluminum tachymeter bezels, TAG Heuer reworked the lug-to-lug dimensions and thickness for improved comfort and fit. Dials include three subdials at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, accompanied by a date window at 3 o’clock.

“Grand Prix by Night” drove the design of the four regular production watches, evident by the predominately dark tones — such as the black opaline dials — punctuated by vividly colorful accents. The first model (ref. CBZ2082.FT8096) features a bold red running track and red lacquer accents on the dial and is paired with a black rubber strap. The second model (ref. CBZ2085.FT8093) sports the same black and red dial but the watch leans into the punchy color with a vibrant red rubber strap. Next up is the third model (ref. CBZ2084.FT8097) in black and blue, followed by the fourth and final regular production model (ref. CBZ2086.FT8098) dressed in lime green and black.

Along with the quartet of standard-issue Formula 1 Chronograph watches for 2025 listed above, a special edition TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing model (ref. CBZ2080.FT8091) was also unveiled to highlight the partnership between the watchmaker and the F1 racing team. This version also includes a titanium case but its bezel is fitted with a forged carbon insert. Also, the colors of the watch mimic Oracle Red Bull Racing’s livery, from the blue opaline dial with a checkered flag pattern and red lacquer in the crown to the yellow lacquered central hand

These new 2025 TAG Heuer releases run on the self-winding Caliber 16 movement (ETA 7750 or Sellita SW500 based) with about 42 hours of power reserve. However, the movements are visible since the casebacks are solid and decorated with a checkered flag pattern. Depending on the model, the 2025 TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronographs range from CHF 4,600 (approximately $5,030) to CHF 5,300 (approximately $5,800).

Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye

Release Date: January 2025

Continuing TAG Heuer’s motorsport legacy, the Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye watches mark another chapter in the brand’s five-year collaboration with Porsche. These latest 2025 TAG Heuer releases draw inspiration from Porsche’s first rally success at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, where the 911 “147” finished fifth overall and second in its class, guided by Heuer dashboard timers.

Housed in 42mm cases, the Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye watches are offered in two variations: stainless steel (limited to 911 pieces) and 18K yellow gold (limited to just 11 pieces). Both editions are powered by the in-house Caliber TH20-08 automatic movement with an impressive 80-hour power reserve and a unique chronograph module (exclusive to Porsche collabs). The central seconds hand accelerates for the first 15 seconds of each minute before returning to a steady pace — a tribute to the 911’s acceleration during the Monte Carlo Rally. Another nod to the carmaker is the Porsche steering wheel-shaped rotor of the movement, visible via the sapphire caseback.

The watch’s design is drawn from the aforementioned Heuer dashboard timers and vintage Porsche’s dashboards, featuring black dials, beige markings, and red accents. There’s also the overall shimmery effect of the dial, evoking the finish of the car’s bodywork. The subdials are positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, along with a date window, embedded in the running seconds subdial. Both sides of the watches are fitted with double glassbox construction sapphire crystals, which according to TAG Heuer, is not only visually impactful but also improves the watch’s ergonomics.

The stainless steel version, priced at CHF 10,000, comes with a matching H-shaped steel bracelet and an additional black perforated leather strap with beige stitching. For those seeking a more luxurious option, the 18K yellow gold edition is priced at CHF 24,000 and is paired with a black perforated strap, along with a light brown perforated calfskin strap for added versatility.

TAG Heuer kicks off 2025 with a vibrant expansion of its Carrera lineup, introducing two striking models: the Carrera Chronograph and the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, each featuring a captivating smoky black-to-purple gradient dial — a follow-up to the purple 2022 TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph.

The Carrera Chronograph includes a 39mm stainless steel case and is powered by the in-house automatic Caliber TH20-00 chronograph movement with an 80-hour power reserve. The dial, with its gradient finish that morphs from a black outer ring to a purple center, features three subdials, a date window, and rhodium-plated hour markers. The Glassbox domed sapphire crystal amplifies the dial’s visual depth while the sunray-brushed finish on the cases complements the dial’s gradient. It comes paired with a perforated black calfskin leather strap and is priced at CHF 6,500.

For those seeking a more horologically ambitious option, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon ups the ante. Encased in a larger 42mm stainless steel sunray-brushed case, it runs on the Caliber TH20-09 movement with a 65-hour power reserve. Limited to just 200 pieces, this model highlights its tourbillon mechanism prominently at 6 o’clock, framed by the gradient purple dial. Priced at CHF 34,000, this watch also features a black calfskin strap with purple lining and a steel folding clasp with double safety push-buttons.

As part of the 2025 TAG Heuer releases, the popular Carrera Chronograph “Glassbox” collection expands with a pair of sparkly precious editions —  one in the Carrera’s signature blue and the other, in delicate powdery pink. Both Carrera Chronograph Precious models sport 39mm steel cases, their flanges beneath the domed sapphire crystal set with 72 diamonds (totaling 0.45 carats). There are also 11 chaton diamonds that serve as hour markers, leaving space for the date window at 6 o’clock.

The sapphire caseback provides a view of TAG Heuer’s in-house Caliber TH20-00 chronograph movement (an evolution of the Caliber Heuer 02), with a vertical clutch and column wheel architecture, and an 80-hour power reserve wound up by a new shield-shaped rotor.
