There are two aviation-themed chronographs with black ceramic cases. There’s also a UK-only Superocean with a grey inner bezel, and a series of men’s and women’s limited edition Chronomats honoring the annual Six Nations Rugby Championship. Plus there’s the first ever stainless steel version of a Breitling perpetual calendar chronograph. Of course, these watches won’t be the last new releases from the brand this year, so be sure to check back often for all the latest updates on the Breitling 2025 releases as they come in. Erling Haaland Signature Chronomat
Professional footballer, Erling Haaland, has teamed up with Breitling to release two limited edition Chronomat models with meteorite dials. The first is the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40, produced in stainless steel with a platinum bezel, in limited quantities of 500.
The other watch is an 18k red gold Chronomat B01 42 in quantities of 250. Both watches are extraordinary, just like Haaland, and both are available on either a metal Rouleaux bracelet or a Rouleaux-style rubber strap. As of the time of writing this article, they appear to be only available for sale on Breitling’s website in select countries. Furthermore, a third, ultra-exclusive 18k red gold model was also released in a run of 5 watches, although it won’t be available for commercial sale.
The steel and platinum model features a solid case back, engraved with the footballer in his signature lotus goal celebration pose and the inscription “one of 500.” Alternatively, the 18k red gold model features a sapphire case back, giving us a clear view of the caliber B01 inside. The rim surrounding the case back is engraved with “one of 250.”

Breitling 2025 IRONMAN Endurance Pro Models
Breitling celebrated its partnership with IRONMAN triathlon with a duo of limited-edition Endurance Pro watches. As a watch developed specifically for athletes and those with an active lifestyle, it feels like a fitting choice for the grueling single-day endurance race. The first model is a 44mm high-performance titanium Endurance Pro designed for the 2025 IRONMAN World Championship. It celebrates the men’s race in Nice, France, as well as the women’s race in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, with a tropical eagle and turtle logo at 6 o’clock. This model features a blue IRONMAN rubber strap and is limited to 500 watches.
The other half of the duo is a 44mm Breitlight Endurance Pro for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, Spain, which also celebrates both the men’s and women’s races. Similar to the titanium model, the dial is also decorated with a special logo, this time featuring images that celebrate Andalusian culture. However, this watch is paired with a turquoise IRONMAN strap and features Breitlight, which is lighter than titanium. It is available in a limited run of 300 watches. Both limited-edition Endurance Pro watches are powered by the Breitling caliber 82 SuperQuartz movement.

Updated SuperOcean Heritage
The SuperOcean Heritage came about in 2007, just in time to commemorate the original SuperOcean’s 50th anniversary and get in on the growing vintage-inspired trend that was taking the market by storm. It was a faithful reinterpretation of the original, featuring sleek index hour markers, vintage spear-and-arrow hands, and minimal markings on the bezel. For 2025, Breitling has updated the collection for the first time since the SuperOcean Heritage II in 2017. There’s a new movement for the non-chronograph models via the caliber B31 released last March, a thinner, more integrated bracelet design that looks a lot like the original 1957 models, and even a limited edition developed alongside surfing legend Kelly Slater.
The collection includes four size options for the three-hand model, while the chronograph is only 42mm. Lastly, the collection has a smaller 36mm model still using the Sellita-based Breitling caliber 10.
SuperOcean Heritage Automatic
So, what’s new? The collection looks similar to before, just sharper, sleeker, and a couple millimeters smaller. The latest collection is only available in a handful of colors (black, blue, and green) and with matching ceramic bezels and tonal sub-dials on the chronograph models. Furthermore, Breitling has closed the gap between the bracelet and case for a more seamless, watertight fit that recalls the look of the original 1950s SuperOcean. The bracelets are now thinner and more integrated. In any size or color, you can choose a rubber strap with a mesh-like pattern instead. The metal bracelets have butterfly clasps while the rubber straps have simpler folding deployant clasps.
Breitling’s ad campaign paints an image of a cool, laidback island style for the refreshed SuperOcean Heritage. That vibe fits well with the limited edition 40mm model co-designed alongside surf legend, Breitling ambassador and Hawaii resident Kelly Slater.
Its blue dial is decorated with a Hawaiian-inspired foliage pattern and comes packaged in a special floral motif box with a note from Slater himself. Furthermore, the caseback is engraved “ONE OF 500” and “KELLY SLATER LIMITED EDITION.” Its list price is $250 more than the $6,200 starting price of all the other Heritage B31 Automatic models. Keep in mind that the 36mm model isn’t a “B31” because it still has a Sellita-based movement, and thus starts at $5,250. The mesh bracelet adds $300 across the board.

SuperOcean Heritage B01 Chronograph 42
The Superocean Heritage B01 Chronograph 42 uses the familiar Breitling caliber 01 movement, but this time in a two-register layout instead of the three-register design of the previous generation. The ETA-based movement option from previous years is gone, and the case is also 2mm smaller.

Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Centenary
In 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter wore what is now known as the Navitimer Cosmonaute into space during the Mercury-Atlas 7 mission. The custom-made watch featured a 24-hour dial to help Carpenter keep track of the time as the sun rapidly rose and set over the horizon, a wider, easier-to-grip bezel, and a stretchy metal bracelet for wearing over a space suit. It was the first Swiss watch worn in space at the time, and for 2025, a milestone Breitling celebrates 100 years after Scott Carpenter was born with a brand-new, re-envisioned Cosmonaut in stunning platinum.
The watch is furnished in platinum and leather, limited to just 50 pieces. Furthermore, Breitling chose a deep blue dial to resemble Earth from space. Flipping the watch over, the case back and movement are engraved with several special markings: “CARPENTER, AURORA 7, 3 ORBITS AROUND THE EARTH, MERCURY 7, FIRST WRISTWATCH IN SPACE, ONE OF 50, AND SCOTT CARPENTER CENTENARY 1925 – 2025.” Sapphire crystal reveals the caliber B02 inside, which is essentially a hand-wound version of the famous B01. Breitling chose this movement because it “performs where automatics may falter” in zero gravity, a factor not many will ever have to consider, but that is fascinating to think about nonetheless.
Breitling shared a neat anecdote about the original Navitimer Cosmonaute, which was damaged during the mission’s splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean. The company replaced the watch for Carpenter and held onto the original, only recently sharing it with the public in 2022 during the 60th anniversary of the Mercury-Atlas 7 mission. This newest release pays a fitting tribute to an important part of space exploration history.

Limited Edition Top Time B01 Racing Watches
Breitling added a trio of limited edition Top Time B01 Racing chronographs to its lineup this year, each with a stainless steel cushion-shaped case, colorful dial/leather strap options, and a bold 1960s aesthetic. Two are inspired by the precision of rally racing, while the other was developed alongside one of the biggest names in motorsport: Martini Racing, complete with the emblematic Martini-style stripes at the center of the dial.
Each model is inspired by vintage Top Time watches from the 1960s. The bi-compax dial is decorated with “squircle” chronograph registers set against a contrasting vintage dashboard-inspired motif, and the case has a distinctively retro cushion-shaped silhouette and mushroom pushers. Breitling has chosen its trusty caliber B01 self-winding movement for this release and is offering each in limited quantities of 750 watches, with special engravings “ONE OF 750” on the case back.

Limited Edition Top Time B01: Gino Bartali & Fausto Coppi
Also joining the brand’s limited-edition Top Time B01 chronographs are two models dedicated to cycling champions and notorious rivals Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali, each in colors inspired by their bikes and racing attire. The duo was among the sport’s greatest champions, competing fiercely while representing the Breitling brand as it served as the official timekeeper for many of the most notorious cycling races.
The Top Time B01 developed for Fausto Coppi, also known in his sport as “Il Campionissimo,” or “Champion of Champions,” is decorated in turquoise and orange to match his bike. His signature sits just above the 6-hour marker, and his nickname, “Il Campionissimo,” is incorporated into the Tachymeter scale. It has the option of a matching leather strap and features “FAUSTO COPPI” and “ONE OF 750” engraved on the case back. The same design codes apply to the watch developed for Gino Bartali, known as “L’Intramontabile” or “The Timeless.” The dial is in shades of blue and yellow to match his jersey, and his signature and nickname are also incorporated into the dial.
Both models are 41mm, with either a matching perforated leather strap or a stainless steel mesh-link bracelet, bi-compax “squircle” dials, and sapphire case backs to reveal the caliber B01 inside. This duo is produced in limited quantities of just 750 watches.

Top Time B31
There was considerable buzz earlier this year as in-demand actor Austin Butler joined the ranks of Breitling ambassadorship. At the core of his debut with the brand? The Top Time B31, featuring the brand’s first in-house three-hand movement. It’s an understated 38mm watch with a time-only movement instead of the collection’s usual chronograph functionality. Color options include a vibrant blue dial with a white outer ring, a white dial with a light blue outer ring, and a dark green dial with a black outer ring. Each is available on a racing-inspired leather strap or a metal bracelet to match the stainless steel case and features a svelte profile thanks to tapered lugs and a streamlined sapphire crystal.
The real news here is the brand-new movement, the caliber B31, which Breitling spent four years developing. It has a free-sprung balance wheel and a skeletonized oscillating weight, which we can view through the sapphire case back. Furthermore, the caliber B31 is COSC-rated and has a 78-hour power reserve.

Navitimer Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Ice Blue
Three impressive Breitling perpetual calendar chronographs were released in 2024, all in rose gold, signaling some higher horological ambitions for the brand. For 2025, Breitling has unveiled a new colorway of the Navitimer Chronograph Perpetual Calendar, featuring a stainless steel case, platinum bezel, and attractive ice blue dial.
It’s actually 0.68mm thinner than the rose gold version, but aside from that, and the color of the dial, its specs are the same. With a 96-hour power reserve, a vertical clutch column-wheel chronograph, a moonphase, and a perpetual calendar, this is one serious Breitling Navitimer.
The list price of this 2025 ice blue Breitling is $29,000 on an alligator strap, and Breitling’s seven-link steel bracelet will cost you $500 more.

Breitling X Frecce Tricolori Avenger B01 Chronograph 42
Breitling’s partnership with the Frecce Tricolori Italian aerobatic squadron dates to 1983, when the brand was tasked with producing the official watch for the team. It was a chance for Breitling to demonstrate its history in aviation and its mechanical prowess during an era when quartz watches were flooding the market. That original watch was the Chronograph “Frecce Tricolori,” and its spirit lives on with the new black ceramic 2025 Breitling Avenger Night Mission ref. SB01462A1L1X1.
In true Night Mission fashion, the watch features an all-black design, pairing a black ceramic case with a matching black bezel and anthracite military leather strap. The titanium pushers and matte green dial offer a reprieve from the dark colorway without forsaking the collection’s stealth design codes. Like other Frecce Tricolori watches, the dial also features the Italian squadron’s colorful red, white, and green emblem, which is tucked inside the sub-dial at 9 o’clock on the new 2025 Breitling.
The green and black dial is like the stainless-steel Avenger B01 chronograph from Breitling’s 2024 releases. However, the red 5-minute increments in the 3 o’clock sub-dial have been swapped for red, white, and green to match the Frecce Tricolori logo, and the sub-dial hands at 3 and 6 o’clock are now vibrant red. Lastly, the case back is decorated with special engravings reading, “FRECCE TRICOLORI.”
With its rider tab bezel, knurled crown, and traditional tri-compax dial, the new Frecce Tricolori is still recognizable as a Breitling Avenger, now with an Italian-inspired dial. The watch is exclusive to North America and Italy and retails for $10,100.

Ceramic Super AVI B04 Chronograph GMT Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair
The Breitling catalog is no stranger to “Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair” watches: there’s a 42mm Classic AVI chronograph with the ETA-based caliber 23 and the 46mm Super AVI Chronograph GMT with the in-house caliber B04. Both feature a blue dial inspired by the eponymous wartime aircraft and are furnished in steel with the option for a matching steel bracelet or leather. Now, for 2025, we have a new edition of the Vought F4U Corsair-inspired AVI, this time in black ceramic.
The case and bezel are furnished in ceramic, while the pushers, crown, and case back are in titanium. Furthermore, collectors will have their choice of a brown or black leather strap, which can change the look of the watch considerably. The new 2025 Breitling Super AVI features the same Corsair-inspired blue dial as the stainless steel models, complete with ultra-legible luminescent Arabic hour markers and lume-filled hands. “Super” refers to the larger 46mm case, compared to the 42mm Classic AVI. Additionally, the Super AVI features the in-house caliber B04 with an added GMT function and date display, as well as a longer 70-hour power reserve.
This watch is exclusive to North America and retails for $12,400 as of January 2025.

UK-Only Breitling 2025 Release: Superocean Automatic 42 with Grey Inner Bezel
Breitling added two new special editions of the Superocean Automatic 42 to its lineup this year, one on a steel bracelet and the other on black rubber. Both now feature a grey inner bezel instead of white and are available exclusively in the UK. The watch is essentially the 42mm companion to the 44mm ref. A173765A1B1S1 (black rubber strap) and ref. A173765A1B1A1 (all-steel) released in 2024 with the same inner grey bezel and UK-only production run.
The newest generation of Superocean watches is modeled after the vintage Slow Motion, featuring larger hour markers/hands and a high-contrast 60-minute bezel ring for optimal underwater legibility. The new model is more of an aesthetic upgrade because it swaps the stark white 60-minute ring for a more understated grey color. It might not offer as much diving legibility as before, but the continuity from black to grey is certainly not lost on us. Aside from this upgrade, the 2025 Breitling Superocean 42 is a classic dive watch. It offers 300 meters/1,000 feet of water resistance, lume that is easy to see in light and dark conditions, and a safer uni-directional diver’s bezel. Breitling Superocean models dating back to at least 1995 have used the time-only ETA-based Caliber B17 movement, with a 38-hour power reserve–and that’s still the same movement used in these 2025 Breitling releases.
Like its 46mm counterpart, this watch is available exclusively in the UK and retails for GBP 4,250 (rubber strap) and GBP 4,400 (all-steel).

Limited Edition Six Nations Chronomat
Breitling is celebrating yet another year as the official timing partner of the Six Nations rugby championship with a series of men’s and women’s Chronomat watches, each in different colors to represent the participating nations: England (white), France (blue), Ireland (green), Italy (blue), Scotland (blue), and Wales (burgundy). The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 represents the men’s teams, while the ladies have the Chronomat 32. The release includes 12 different models – each outfitted with Breitling’s Rouleaux-style bracelet and a time-and-date dial with a tonal striped motif. The men’s models are limited to 250 pieces, while the women’s are limited to 75.
Breitling has furnished the men’s and women’s models from their respective nations with the same dial colors but with a few stylistic differences. For example, the sporty-chic aesthetic of the broader Chronomat 32 collection is carried over to the limited-edition release with gold and diamond hour markers for each dial color. Furthermore, all the men’s Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 Six Nation watches are furnished with silver hour markers and hands. The GMT hand is a different color for each nation, with the nation emblazoned on the dial in a matching font to coordinate with the GMT hand. Furthermore, the women’s models are powered by the caliber 77 SuperQuartz™ movement, while the men’s 40mm models use the caliber 32 self-winding mechanical movement.
England is represented by a white/silver dial with a red GMT hand for the men’s models, Ireland embraces its roots with a striking green dial and a silver GMT hand, and Wales has a deep burgundy dial with a light pink GMT hand for subtle contrast. France, Italy, and Scotland are all blue, albeit in different combinations of blue to distinguish them from each other. Furthermore, France has a red GMT hand, Italy has a light pink one, and Scotland has a purple one. Each case back is emblazoned with the team’s logos: England/Rose, Ireland/Shamrock, France/Rooster, Italy/Italian Crest, Scotland/Thistle, and Wales/Three Feathers.

North America Limited Edition Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph Ref. UB01384A1B1P1
Joining the brand’s growing collection of 2025 limited edition Breitling watches is a Navitimer B01 chronograph, this time a North American exclusive. The striking limited-edition steel and 18k red gold watch was produced in quantities of 300 and is only available on the brand’s website and through retailers in the United States and Canada. The new watch is an extension of the rest of the regular production 43mm B01 Chronographs, featuring the same dimensions (43mm x 13.69mm x 49.07mm lug-to-lug) and B01 self-winding chronograph movement with a 70-hour power reserve. The main difference is the contemporary anthracite dial with black sub-dials and the special exhibition-style case back engraved with “LIMITED EDITION” and “ONE OF 300.”
While the rest of the current production 43mm lineup is made of either red gold or steel, this model combines the two. The case is made of steel, and the bezel is in red gold with red gold hands and hour markers to match. Furthermore, the new ref. UB01384A1B1P1 is on a black alligator leather strap lined in Breitling’s signature gold hue. All the usual Navitimer hallmarks are here, including the slide rule bezel with an easy-to-grip edge, tri-compax dial, and accompanying chronograph side pushers.
