2026 Urwerk Watch Releases: Every New Model Explained
The 2026 Urwerk watch releases continue the independent brand’s tradition of rethinking how time can be displayed. This year’s lineup includes everything from astronomical complications and satellite-hour displays to gem-set reinterpretations and farewell editions, all presented with the unconventional engineering and design language that has become synonymous with Urwerk. Here are all the 2026 Urwerk watch releases so far, complete with prices, specs, and release dates.

UR-120 Blue Planet
Release Date: June 2026

The Urwerk UR-120 Blue Planet marks the final chapter of the UR-120 collection, a series introduced in 2022 and distinguished by its unconventional satellite-hour display and mechanical “spinning top” hour satellites. The limited edition Blue Planet closes out the line with a deep blue color scheme accented by gold movement components.

At the heart of the UR-120 Blue Planet is the automatic Caliber UR-20.01, whose three rotating hour satellites travel across the minute track before performing one of the UR-120’s signature mechanical tricks. As each satellite completes its journey, its two arms separate into a V-shape before folding closed again, creating a motion inspired by the iconic Vulcan salute from Star Trek. The sequence is controlled by a complex system of Maltese crosses and proprietary lyre-shaped springs within a mechanism comprising 175 components.

Meanwhile, the 47mm by 44mm sandblasted steel case features a two-part construction with a smooth upper shell that conceals its assembly, while articulated lugs improve wrist comfort. Gold PVD-coated Maltese crosses and springs stand out against the deep blue architecture of the movement, highlighting the components responsible for storing and releasing energy as the display operates.

Limited to 20 pieces, the Urwerk UR-120 Blue Planet is fitted with a blue Cordura-textured calfskin strap and is priced at CHF 115,000 (approximately $142,000 USD).

UR-10 SpaceTime Blue Final Edition
Release Date: May 2026

Less than a year after its debut, the Urwerk UR-10 collection concludes with the SpaceTime Blue Final Edition. The limited edition watch combines a traditional central time display with astronomical indications that track the Earth’s movement through space.
Along with telling the time, the UR-10 also tracks three different journeys. The subdial at 2 o’clock measures the Earth’s daily rotation in 10-kilometer increments, the display at 4 o’clock records the planet’s orbit around the Sun in 1,000-kilometer steps, while the concentric display at 9 o’clock combines both motions. Turn the watch over and the caseback continues the theme with a 24-hour display illustrating the Earth’s rotation and revolution.

Inside is the self-winding Caliber UR-10.01, equipped with Urwerk’s patented Double Flow Turbine system. Featuring two counter-rotating propellers, the mechanism helps regulate rotor speed and reduce stress on the automatic winding system. The movement operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and delivers a 43-hour power reserve.

The 45.4mm titanium and steel case is paired with a blue ADL-treated dial featuring contrasting satellite displays and a matching sandblasted titanium bracelet. Limited to 25 pieces, the Urwerk UR-10 SpaceTime Blue Final Edition is priced at CHF 70,000 (approximately $86,700 USD).

UR-101 Diamond Sky
Release Date: April 2026

Nearly three decades after the original debuted, Urwerk revisits one of its earliest designs with the UR-101 Diamond Sky. Based on the 1997 UR-101, the new model preserves the collection’s signature wandering hours display, crown at 12 o’clock, and compact case while introducing a gem-set execution unlike anything previously seen in the brand’s catalog.

The diamonds aren’t confined to a conventional bezel; Urwerk engraved the 41mm stainless steel case with a geometric pattern inspired by a constellation map. A total of 214 responsibly sourced D-E-F VVS+ diamonds totaling 1.63 carats are set at each intersection, creating what the brand describes as a “Diamond Sky” across the case surface. The effect is architectural rather than ornamental, with the diamonds integrated into the engraved pattern instead of acting as standalone decoration.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Caliber UR-1.01V, which drives Urwerk’s signature wandering hours display across a 180-degree minute scale. Operating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph), the movement delivers a 48-hour power reserve and uses two rotating hour satellites to indicate the time beneath a glareproof sapphire crystal.

Limited to 25 pieces, the 2026 Urwerk UR-101 Diamond Sky is paired with a textured white rubber strap with black calfskin lining and is priced at CHF 85,000 (approximately $105,200).

UR-100V LightSpeed Ceramic
Release Date: February 2026

The new for 2026 Urwerk UR-100V LightSpeed Ceramic takes the brand’s signature wandering hours display and gives it an entirely new purpose. Once the hour satellite leaves the minute track, it transitions into an astronomical display that illustrates how long sunlight takes to travel from the Sun to each of the eight planets in our solar system.
Rather than simply displaying the time, the complication visualizes the speed of light. As the satellite continues its path, it indicates that sunlight reaches Mercury in 3.2 minutes, Earth in 8.3 minutes, Jupiter in 43.2 minutes, and Neptune in just over four hours. It’s an unusual complication that transforms a scientific constant into something mechanical and surprisingly intuitive to read. Is this useful? Absolutely not. Is it cool? I’d argue, very much yes.

Behind the mechanical magic of the Urwerk LightSpeed is the automatic Caliber UR-12.02, regulated by Urwerk’s Windfänger air-turbine system, which helps prevent excessive winding. Operating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph), the movement delivers a 48-hour power reserve and features aluminum satellite hours mounted on beryllium bronze Geneva crosses. The sapphire caseback reveals the movement and its black PVD-coated rotor.

Housing the movement and display is the newly developed 43mm white ceramic composite case reinforced with glass and carbon fibers. According to Urwerk, the proprietary material was engineered to overcome the brittleness traditionally associated with ceramic while preserving its scratch resistance and distinctive matte appearance. A black dial creates the impression of looking into space, while the layered white composite shifts in tone depending on lighting.

The Urwerk UR-100V Ceramic LightSpeed is paired with interchangeable black and white textured rubber straps and is priced at CHF 67,000 (approximately $82,900).

Urwerk Watches in 2026
The 2026 Urwerk watch releases once again demonstrate that the independent Swiss brand has little interest in following conventional watchmaking. Whether visualizing the speed of light, tracking the Earth’s movement through space, or reimagining some of its earliest creations, each model offers a distinctly different way of thinking about time.
We’ll continue updating this guide as additional 2026 Urwerk watch releases are announced, so stay tuned to Grey Market Magazine for complete coverage of every new model.
