Harry Winston Inc. is an American jeweler and producer of Swiss timepieces named after its founder famed jeweler Harry Winston. Founded in 1932, Harry Winston Inc. has a history that is just as colorful as the beautiful jewelry and gemstones they are known for.

Harry Winston's Opus Eleven watch, as the name states, is the eleventh in their Opus Collection. The Opus Collection was started back in 2000 as a series of collaborations between some of the world's most talented watchmakers to create amazing and unique limited edition timepieces.

The spectacular Sofia Vergara was seen wearing an equally spectacular collection of Harry Winston jewelry at the Golden Globes last week, totaling $5 million for only five pieces. The Colombian actress is well known for her role on ABC's Modern Family, which she was nominated for a Golden Globe for.  

The spectacular third part to Harry Winston's Histoire de Tourbillon collection has been unveiled. The first Histoire de Tourbillon watch featured two single-axis tourbillons, followed up by their Histoire de Tourbillon 2 watch, which introduced their double-tourbillon.

Harry Winston, one of the most famous and talented jewelers of modern times, first set up shop in 1932 in New York. After Mr. Winston passed away in the late 70s, his brand continued to carry his illustrious tradition forward. In the late 80s, Harry Winston made the move to include timepieces in their collection, which was a natural fit.

Christie’s Auction House is having two very impressive jewelry auctions, both on November 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues in Geneva, Switzerland. “Magnificent Jewels” will showcase over 300 lots of haute joaillerie from top jewelry makers.
