Launched in 2012, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Watch 49020/000R-9753 is a high complication timepiece presented with a beautiful satin-finished rose gold case with a highly polished bezel. It also has a light grey dial with four sub-dials: date and 3-minute counter at 3, small seconds and moon phase at 6, day of the week and 12-hour counter at 9, and month plus leap year at 12. Indicating hours around the dial are luminescent gold batons paired with luminescent gold hands for superior readability even in the dark. There is also a neatly detailed chapter ring with minute markers. The dial displays a variety of information but it does so in a clear, uncluttered, and succinct manner. The solid case back features a stamped “Overseas” medallion. Behind it is Calibre 1136 QP self-winding movement with 279 parts, 37 jewels, and a 40-hour power reserve. Guaranteeing comfort for the wearer is a crocodile leather strap with an 18K rose gold buckle.
