The Rolex Day-Date ref.1803 was first released in 1958 and was in production until the late 70s. This particular Day-Date ref.1803 has a unique pie-pan dial, an acrylic crystal, and a diamond-set bezel. Its champagne dial features gold hands, a black text on gold background day aperture, a black-on-gold date window, and diamond hour markers. What made this vintage Day-Date all the more desirable is the custom yellow gold bracelet dubbed “Gold Nugget.” The solid 14K gold bracelet features an intricately textured design of gold “nuggets” or lumps of gold.
Beating inside the watch is Rolex caliber 1556 automatic movement, with 26 jewels and approximately 44 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
