Description
This Jules Audemars ref.25718 was released in 1991 as the first wristwatch in the world to combine an automatic movement, a power reserve indicator, and a tourbillon in an oversized 39mm case. This particular model is fashioned in platinum and features a bold bezel in convex form paired with classic teardrop-shaped lugs. The white dial bears three recessed sub-registers and a 1-minute tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock. At 12 is a large hour and minute sub-dial with painted Roman numerals and blackened leaf hands. At 3 is the date sub-dial while at 9 is the power reserve display – both with blued steel hands. Powering this watch is the 41-jewel caliber 2875 self-winding movement which offers a 52-hour power reserve. The watch is fitted with a blue leather strap with a tang buckle.
