Audemars Piguet is world renowned for promoting horological excellence with the gorgeous timepieces they produce. Some of their collections are more refined than others, some modern with a classic twist, others have a sporty flair. Whatever the “feeling” of the collection, the wearer knows that the Audemars Piguet timepiece on their wrist is of high quality, and seeped in watch making tradition.
The Jules Audemars Collection was named after one of Audemars Piguet’s founders; Jules-Louis Audemars. In 1875 Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet (the namesake of the Edward Piguet Collection) became business partners and began creating high-end timepieces in Le Brassus, Switzerland. To this day, Audemars Piguet has master craftsmen making timepieces by hand that pay homage to the work of the company’s founders.
According to Audemars Piguet, the Jules Audemars Collection is designed with “Inspired Classicism” and the watches in this collection sport a simple and refined look. Within the collection there are numerous watch styles including; Selfwinding, Small Seconds, Extra-Thin, Dual Time, Moon-Phase Calendar, Large Date Tourbillon, etc.
All of the previously stated styles stay true to the “Jules Audemars look”; classic round case and bezel, a richly colored leather strap and a dial that is simple and clean-cut, even if it boasts complications such a moon-phase calendar or Tourbillon.
