Romain Jerome Watches have certainly attracted some attention in recent years. While other luxury timepiece designers are content to adorn their creations with mere gold and diamonds, this company has gone out of its way to find some really unusual stuff for their watches. The Moondust DNA and Titanic DNA series use materials from the moon, NASA space gear and from the wreck of the Titanic. The 2011 new models from Romain Jerome Watches include additions to both of these lines.
Four of the 2011 new models from Romain Jerome Watches are in their Moon Invader line. Each luxury timepiece has a striking dial design and a strange, bulbous shape that could have been conceived by aliens.
The logo of Romain Jerome Watches, so stylized that it could be a character from an extraterrestrial alphabet, is at the 12 position. The small second hand is at 9 and resembles a lunar crater. Two of our 2011 new models are chronographs with two dials, which also look like craters. Spare parts from the Apollo 11 spacecraft and actual moondust have been incorporated into this luxury timepiece.
Our two other 2011 new models from Romain Jerome Watches are in the Titanic DNA line using materials taken from the famous shipwreck. The bezels look like rusted rims of portholes while the faces are cluttered with bolts, clamps and other mechanical-looking shapes.
