The Breitling Caliber 01 movement powering these limited edition watches was designed, developed, and assembled entire-in-house by Breitling. It is one of the most accurate of all self-winding chronograph movements, having time variation of only 0.3 seconds per day. It even meets the stringent requirements for certification of accuracy by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). A striking feature of all the limited edition Breitling 2011 models is the transparent sapphire case back, allowing customers to marvel at the precise Caliber 01 movement.
The Breitling Montbrillant 01 Limited Edition sports a look inspired by the elegance of the 1940's and 1950's. Breitling offers two case options: a classy rose gold or a durable stainless steel case. Case diameter in each option is 40 mm, and the automatic movement has a power reserve of over 70 hours. Other distinctive touches Breitling includes are a mercury silver colored dial and white stitching in the Barenia leather strap. The watch functions are clearly displayed, including hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph. These Breitiling luxury watches are limited to a production runs of 200 pieces in rose gold and 2000 pieces in stainless steel.
Breitling’s Transocean Chronograph Limited Edition features a design that jumps a decade ahead of its Montbrillant cousin to the distinctive chronographs of the 1950’s and 1960’s. This model reflects a clean, uncluttered look that makes for highly readable precision instrument. Like all Breitling timepieces, the Transocean Chronograph is made in Switzerland with 100% Swiss made components. The Transocean Chronograph Limited Edition is offered in both rose gold and stainless steel cases. Dial color options are black or white, with either black leather, brown leather, or stainless steel bands.
