Vacheron Constantin watches are well known as some of the finest in the world and are coveted by watch enthusiasts and anyone who can appreciate luxury and refined elegance in a timepiece. With more than 250 years of horological mastery informing their engineering and manufacturing processes, Vacheron Constantin produces wide range of watches to fit a variety of tastes. The company's Overseas Dual Time is the quintessential luxury timepiece for the world traveler.
The Overseas Dual Time features 42 to 43-millimeter cases available in a variety of luxury metals, including lustrous 18k rose gold, radiant 18k yellow gold, virtually indestructible titanium and cool, strong brushed stainless steel. Dial colors come in chocolate brown, jet black, slate grey, silver and white. Long, luminescent hours, minutes and seconds hands sweep around the dial, over luminescent indexes that denote each hour. Smaller indexes sitting between the larger ones mark individual minutes and seconds. A date sub dial set just above three o'clock is a unique departure from the more traditional date window. Another subdial at six o'clock displays a second time, a valuable and highly useful feature for the globetrotter. A smaller dial set just left of the second time indicates day and night. At nine o'clock is a large power reserve meter that displays the watch's remaining potential energy.
Driving this fantastic timepiece is Vacheron Constantin's in-house designed automatic 1222 calibre, lauded for its superior accuracy and longevity, making the Overseas Dual Time an heirloom-quality timepiece. A screw-down crown and push-button, in conjunction with the glare-reducing, scratch-resistant hardened sapphire crystal, ensure long-lasting water resistance. Most versions of the Overseas Dual Time are outfitted with bands constructed of the same metal as the case, but one features a leather strap.
