First introduced in 1947, the Seamaster has consistently maintained the high levels of quality and style expected from all Omega Watches. This has been recognized since the watch's creation and has most recently been highlighted by its inclusion in the James Bond series of films. The Omega Seamaster has been the official watch of James Bond since 1995. Since then, the Bond character has worn several versions of the Seamaster including the Seamaster Diver 300 M and the Seamaster Planet Ocean. This relationship also led to the creation of the Omega Seamaster James Bond 40th Anniversary Limited Edition watch.
Originally created as a deep sea diving watch, the Seamaster has seen many modifications and improvements, and there is now a version of these Omega Watches available to meet all style choices and needs. The classic features of these luxury watches include a stainless steel bracelet, a stainless steel case, water resistant down to 300 meters, blue or black watch face, phosphorescent hands and a helium release valve. While these are the standard features of the Seamaster, Omega also offers several other options for these luxury watches including a white watch face, a black or orange rubber strap, a chronograph and water resistance as deep as 1200 meters.
With its industry-leading style and world-class performance, the Omega Seamaster continues to set the standard among luxury timepieces.
