One would be hard pressed to name the most prestigious luxury timepiece manufacturers in the world without mentioning the Swiss horological engineering powerhouse that is TAG Heuer Watches. For more than 150 years, the company has been producing some of the finest wristwatches available. Whether for the sailor, the diver, the land racer or the aviator, with its Aquaracer Quartz collection, TAG Heuer offers several exciting timepiece options for the sporting enthusiast.
Timepieces in the Aquaracer Quartz collection are available in two styles: the 38-millimeter Sport Dial, and the 43-millimeter Chronograph. Chronograph models come with either a jet black or deep blue dial, while the smaller Sport Dial is available with dials in jet black, silver or deep blue. All cases are composed of a single piece of ultra-strong and impact-resistant brushed stainless steel, and are water resistant to 300 meters. One version of the Sport Dial features 18k yellow gold bezel and bracelet accents for an added touch of measured luxury. Bezels on all timepieces in the series rotate counterclockwise, and are clearly inscribed with large black Arabic numerals and a 60-minute gradation for accurate tracking of elapsed time, a feature that both divers and aviators will find quite useful.
The Sport Dial carries large indices around its dial's circumference and a big number 12 at the top. A date window is positioned at three o'clock. The Chronograph models feature 30-minute, 10-hour and 60-second complications on subdials at nine, six and three o'clock, respectively. Push-button controls allow manipulation of the stopwatch function. All indices, as well as the hours and minutes hands of both watch styles are luminescent for trouble-free time readings in the darkest environs.
