2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the sailing & subsequent tragic loss of the Titanic & leads Romain Jerome to add special anniversary timepieces to honor this legendary ship.
There are three versions of the Steampunk Chronographs in a large 50 mm case - this is definitely a watch that takes one deep into the heart of the legendary Titanic with a dial & case that appear to be molded from the ship itself.
Large, rugged & mesmerizing - this is a watch especially for those who have always been caught up in the intrigue of the Titanic.
Limited Edition in each version of 2012 pieces each.
Steel & black PVD-coated steel cases with one version having 18K Red gold elements on the case & dial.
Dial integrated into the movement.
Rhodium colored bridges, with 4 steel pistons & rhodiumed bearings.
Raw finishing for the XII at 12 o'clock.
The movement consists of 300 components and is mounted by four screwed pistons in the form of a letter "X", which symbolizes the company's logo.
The unique mechanical self-winding Caliber RJ001-CS, designed specifically for Romain Jerome, has a 42-hour power reserve.
Chronograph counter at 3 o’clock.
The bezels are made of stainless steel taken from the Titanic which is stabilized with rust.
Lugs, crown and chronograph pushers are also made from these materials.
A large Roman numeral XII is mounted on the dial
There are 4 pistons at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o’clock positions and a rotating helix at the 6 o’clock position.
The rotation of the screw provides an automatic winding rotor.
Skeletonized hour and minute hands are shaped like an anchor of Titanic.
