2012 Baselworld - Chopard unveils one of the most classic & almost poetic models in the prestigious L.U.C Collection bearing the initials of the founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard - the L.U.C Lunar One model.
This handsome watch is a perpetual calendar with an orbital moon-phase display & shows off the generous curves, optimal readability and absolute comfort of the design.
The warmth of the 18K Rose gold case is the perfect housing for this watch.
The grand complications are masterfully displayed and yet the watch dial is absolutely legible.
The movement is selfwinding mechanical with a power reserve of 70 hours, Manufacture movement, COSC Certification (Chronometer)

The crown, set at the 3 o'clock position, decorated with the logo of the L.U.C. line on the top.
The dial is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal, as well as the transparent case back.
The silver-matte dial is marked with overlaid gold Roman numerals.
There are central hour and minute hands, made of gold.
The small seconds hand is located on an outer ring of the moon phase display at the 6 o’clock position.
The Date is in a large double aperture at the 12 o’clock position, the days of the week sub dial is at the 9 o'clock position & is aligned with the pointer of the day / night.
The round moon phase indicator is located at the 6 o’clock position.
Inside the case is Caliber L.U.C. 96.13-L (L.U.C. 96QP) Automatic movement.
This extremely reliable caliber provides a 70-hour power reserve and the balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The mechanism is beautifully decorated and finished.
It is certified by COSC as a chronometer and the caliber is marked by Poinçon de Genève.
The new L.U.C. Lunar One watch comes on an alligator black strap with a cognac-colored inner lining.
The buckle on the strap is made of 18K gold.
