2012 Baselworld & Chanel unveils new models to its very popular J12 Chromatic Collection.
In 2011, the Ceramic Titanium combination and its elusive color, varying from light gray to platinum stormy sky, made its dramatic introduction, revolutionizing the traditional black & white offered by Chanel.
Hardness of this combination is close to that of sapphire.
Its unique color and sparkle are obtained by adding titanium to ceramic and then polishing with diamond powder
This year, Chanel is capitalizing on the success of this unusual combination, as evidenced by the models presented: one version with powder pink dial (at 33 mm and 38 mm); another with a halo of 36 baguette diamonds (3.47 ct.) and index of 12 baguette diamonds (0.52 ct.) on the dial, two models with respectively baguette pink sapphires and baguette cognac sapphires (in 33 mm and 38 mm) and, finally, a watch with 12 diamond hour markers (in 33 mm and 38 mm).

The variation is case size also offers either the quartz movement or an automatic movement on the 38 mm size.
Some models offer a titanium ceramic bracelet set with diamonds.
