2012 Baselworld & Chanel unveils its new J12 Tourbillon 05-T2 beautifully done in white high-tech Ceramic & 18K White gold.
This is a Limited Edition of 12 pieces world-wide.
The movement that drives this stunning beauty is an in-house Manufacture movement with manual-winding, Tourbillon Chanel 05-T2 on a white high-tech ceramic bottom plate (a Chanel exclusive).
This is the first time the bottom plate, which serves to support the movement, is made of high-tech ceramic, with a 1/100 accuracy, never before achieved in this material.
Clearly visible through the crystal glass case-back, this unprecedented bottom plate adorns the movement, giving it an ultra-contemporary look.
Power reserve: 100 hours.
When one thinks ceramic watches, Chanel comes to mind and this Tourbillon model is certainly no exception.
The bezel is in 18K White gold set with 46 baguette cut diamonds ( 4.55 ct.)
The sapphire crystal on both sides has been treated with an anti-reflective coating.
The screw down crown is set wit a brilliant cut diamond.
The white high-tech (scratch-resistant) ceramic bracelet has a triple folding buckle in 18K White gold.
The watch is water resistant to 50 meters / 100 feet.
