2012 - Baselworld - Breitling Montbrillant Datora - In tribute to the famous Breitling Datora watches, which were bestsellers in the 1940s.
Two models in 18K Red gold are limited editions.
The models have chronographs with a complete calendar that is distinguished by its unique way of showing the date.
The dial, at first seems complicated but becomes clear when the dial layout is examined.
Embodying an authentic demonstration of mechanical ingenuity, its self-winding movement displays the day and month in two side-by-side apertures at 12 o'clock, while a half-moon center pointer (in red) indicates the date around the dial.
In addition to the aviation slide rule, a tachometer and a 1/100th of an hour indication, the Montbrillant Datora also provides a second hour display in 24-hour mode, also known as military time.
