2012 - Baselworld - Breitling Superocean Chronograph II has all the attributes on the Superocean 44 but has the chronograph for those who want this complication.
Breitling offers its Superocean Chronograph II self-winding models in new versions fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring one with an 18K rose gold ring.
This radiant touch is echoed by the hands that stand out beautifully against the black background.
The models are available with leather or rubber straps, or a steel bracelet.
The chronograph version of the Superocean is water-resistant to 500 meters (1,650 ft) and combines a youthful, dynamic and modern appearance with a high-performance self-winding movement chronometer- certified by the COSC.
The models have matching color accents for the Chrono Subdials, date window and Superocean signature forming an elegant contrast with the particularly readable black dial.
The hands & hour markers are big & chunky with luminescent fill adding to the legibility of this great diving watch
The ultra- sturdy case is fitted with a screw-locked crown and safety pushpieces that can only be activated once they are unlocked.
The case diameter increases from 41mm to 44 mm this year and has brightly colored dial accents on the black dial which stand out nicely. The colors are given a touch of mystery with the moniker "Abyss" before each color, conjuring up the dark ocean depths.

Water resistance is not as high as the Superocean 44 but nonetheless is a very respectable 500 meters / 1650 feet.
