2012 Baselworld - Bovet introduces the Dimier Recital 8 in an exquisite 18K Red gold 48 mm case.
First introduced in 2007, the Dimier Collection, characterized by the four horns of its case and its crown positioned at 3 o’clock, this year welcomes their eighth Récital.
The Dimier collection consists of watches with exclusive Tourbillon movements and complications developed by the Dimier 1738.
Its Tourbillon movement is the development of an architecture based on two 3/4 plates.
This type of construction is typical of the 19th century & ensures rigidity and mechanical uniformity and allows the diameter of the carriage to be increased to 13.50 mm.
The model displays the time in two time-zones simultaneously.
In addition, the second time-zone is coupled with a day/night indicator and a cities disc displaying all 24 existing time-zones.
The power reserve indicator is located under the Bovet name at 12 o'clock
The decorative work and finish of the movement is superb.
The white mother-of-pearl dials contrast beautifully with anthracite Côtes de Genève decorations.
The Tourbillon carriage appears to be suspended by the bridge that carries it.
Watches will be produced as a limited edition.
