Description:

2012 - New at Baselworld - Bovet's exceptional Tourbillon Fleurier 0, a 7-Day Tourbillon with reverse hand-fitting in either an 18K Red gold case or 18K White gold (with intricate engraving).
In 2012, Bovet celebrates its 190th anniversary.
This timepiece is part of the celebration of new watches to mark this historic event.
Firstly there is the new position of the tourbillon carriage at 6 o’clock, an entirely new movement that is at the heart of this Tourbillon Fleurier 0.
This further improves the watch's timekeeping qualities.
Moving the Tourbillon carriage paved the way for a thorough revision of the movement’s architecture, with all components, except for the Tourbillion, supported by two three-quarter plates.
It also provided beautiful surfaces on which the House’s engravers could express their talents.
There are 281 components, 66 relate to the Tourbillon carriage alone.
Each one has been entirely reappraised and redesigned.
Since the weights are manufactured in blued steel, it is perfectly natural that the balance of this Fleurier 0 should also be in royal blue & in the white gold model, the hands are in royal blue too.
The Tourbillon Fleurier 0 features the Amadeo case, which allows the watch to be converted into a miniature table clock, a pocket watch or a reversible wristwatch without the use of any tools whatsoever.
The Tourbillon Fleurier 0 also offers a second face thanks to its reversed hand-fitting.
This is displayed on a small offset dial that gives pride of place to the wonderful Fleurisanne engraving adorning the three-quarter plate.
The new manual wind movement has a power reserve of 168 hours with the power reserve indicator visible of the reverse hand-fitted plate at 12 o'clock.
The hands on the white gold model are in blue & red gold in the red gold version.
Alligator strap with a matching red or white gold pin buckle and a matching chain for the pocket watch conversion.
