This is a delicate, rare and exceptional white gold and rutilated Quartz rectangular skeletonized Tourbillon wristwatch.

As is known to many watch connoisseurs that traditional machining techniques would smash the crystal and make the blank useless if they are utilized in cutting and forming the raw crystal blank.
Audemars Piguet worked with experts at Renaud and Papi to use abrasive liquid suspension on mineral crystal.
It takes as long as an hour to only abrade 1mm but it yields extraordinary accuracy, reaching 1/100ths of a millimeter.
