Maurice Lacroix is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based out of Jura, one of the 26 Swiss cantons. The brand is unusual for a Swiss luxury watch company in the sense that it is not named after anyone in particular, similar to other wildly popular brands including Omega and Rolex. Despite not having a typical “Manufacture Suisse” history, the brand has a very impressive background. The brand was formed in 1975 as part of Desco von Schulthess of Zurich; a company that represents some of the world’s most famous watch brands including Audemars Piguet, Tag Heuer and Jaeger LeCoultre just to name a few.
According to the brand’s managing director, Maurice Lacroix timepieces all feature, ‘‘Innovative complications and movement developments, contemporary design and a heightened passion for detail and perfection.’’ These attributes, alongside the brands dedication to creating top-quality complications including chronographs, moon phase indicators and retrograde date displays have helped to only bolster the brand’s success. Currently at Luxury Bazaar, we have an assortment of men’s timepieces from the brand; all of which feature at least one of the complications previously mentioned. If you are in the market for an elegant, mechanical timepiece, look no further than our collection of Maurice Lacroix watches.
